Do you think he has reached his peak right around $50 or does he have room to grow anymore? Also with MM coming in a few months would a reprint hurt his price greatly?
I started out with a mortarpod in my deck, but could rarely use it well, due to most of the creatures i need to kill are bigger than x/1 as i rarely play against other equipment type decks and can just trade hawks or block with a wall against people.
I use the probes early to find out what im going up against, to see if i should worry about being countered or artifact removal etc...and early drawing.
One thing i find with my counters is having a hard time using them when i do have them early game. I normally go turn 1 land/preordain, turn 2 land/stoneforge, then turn 3 deciding to either not play anything and hope i can counter something, or playing the next logical card in my hand. Any suggestions on that? Because most of the time i feel that im better suited playing that equipment, or baby jace/hawk than i am holding that turn 3 counter.
Here is a venser/caw deck i made to compete against my meta:Lots of agro, no real tier 1 decks, some vamps, kred, elves, boros, 1 caw blade (not piloted well) and some janky spine of ish/proliferate artifact deck.
Looking to get some input on how it looks, and if i should keep the few counters i have in there or replace them with something.
