I don't really understand how this happened. Maybe the worker was knocked down, but I just can't imagine people stepping on them over and over again, especially not enough times to kill them.

I was actually at Walmart at 5AM on Friday, and there were some people who were a bit crazy, but mostly people were calm.

Also the deals weren't THAT good. (I personally went for the $8 hoodies, $4 appliances, and 500 ct sheets)

LOL, my boyfriend's seven year old nephew plays this game. Grin It's pretty fun, but I feel like the setup is unfair... attacking is so much stronger than defense most of the time.

Does anyone here go on woot? www.woot.com, shirt.woot.com, wine.woot.com, sellout.woot.com

If so, what have you bought from there? Ever gotten a bag of crap? XD

I like the site a lot, but unfortunately, I haven't purchased very much. Usually I can't wait around for an item I want to come up. I have bought a few shirts, and $35 toffee from wine.woot (so good @__@) And a mouse, and wallets. (lol) I feel like the site is very appealing and encourages spontaneous purchases. I like their shirt designs too.

Also, if you've made a purchase on woot before, you should vote for my shirt and I will love you forever XD lol

  • posted a message on Have mythics proven to be the greatest idea ever?
I don't think mythics will work for Magicas well due to the nature of its collectors. In Pokemon, there were crappy but exciting cards (like Charizard) that were worth a lot of money. In Magic, crappy cards are still going to be worth crappy amounts, even if it's mythic. (There are just too many cards in existence) However, really good mythic rares may see values in the $30s-$60s (we have yet to see). Since magic cards are typically only $10 for good cards, this can be extremely exciting when you pull one, which is always good for getting people to buy more packs. :p I feel that all mythics should be really good playable cards though, although not all really good playable cards should be mythics. Getting a crappy mythic is going to feel like such a waste.

    1.) p1p1 - Kulrath Knight v. Oversoul of Dusk

Oversoul, without question. It is a way better card. Kulrath Knight does not actually have that useful of an ability, and is not really a game winner if it comes down on turn 5.

    2.) p1p1 - Burn Trail v. Burn Trail (Foil) v. Silkbind Faerie v. Firespout v. Ashenmoor Liege

Silkbind. Red is going to be highly contested, so best to avoid it.

    3.) p1p1 - Wilt-Leaf Cavilers v. Mistmeadow Skulk v. Spawnwrithe

Spawnwrithe. This is personal preference though, I just like having these fun cards. :p Between these, Cavaliers is definitely better than skulk, but you might take it over Spawn.

4.) p2p1 in W with no clear secondary - Silkbind Faerie v. Inkfathom Witch v. Inkfathom Witch (Foil) v. Mistmeadow Witch v. Murderous Redcap v. Ghastlord of Fuege

If you're heavily in white, silkbind faerie. Otherwise, Ghastlord.

    5.) p3p1 in RG - Firespout v. Boartusk Liege

Boartusk. Gift from the heavens, anyone? Smile

  • posted a message on How do I get my girlfriend back?
I'm not going to judge whether or not you should go out with her, I'll just tell you what you should do to get her back.

First of all, she's already expressed that she's still interested in you. IMing someone as soon as their away message goes means that she wants to talk to you and that she was thinking about you. So you should do something about it. You definitely should have gone to visit her at work the other day, because that would have made her happy, it would have shown that you still had an interest in her as well.

Girls don't want you to wait until they're ready to date you. They're impatient. If they're not impatient, they don't like you. Dating is not a tricky thing. Go meet her at work, ask her out to a movie or dinner. It doesn't have to be in the contextx of dating, but if things go well, you can give her a kiss goodnight. If she's not receptive to this, then she will never go out with you again. This is not something you can wait for.

By the way, if you just kiss her but don't have sex with her, it might alleviate her worries that you're just using her.

Edit: By the way, it's important to act quickly. While there are cases of girls pining for guys for a long time, most of the time we just move on, especially if the guy doesn't show any interest when we're being so obvious about things.

I think this card is awesome in the early game. Like, super awesome. Unless it's dealt with, you're going to have a 4/4, a 5/5, a 6/6... honestly, with the exception of deadlocks, you're going to be playing spells every turn, and whatever deck this is in is probably going to want to win before getting into a deadlock.

Even in the late game, it's not a completely dead card like Talara's Battalion, it can always punch through for 1, and you can have the threat of having a spell to play to pump in. And if you do have a spell, all the better.

I don't know... the guy on the very right is kind of cute, but the others seem fairly standard when it comes to the spectrum of guys. :p

At any rate, it seems like you're going to be hardpressed to find people willing to talk about the cutest Wizards Staff members on this site.

@ Irenicus Shadow - I think that people are rumor hungry due to the slow SoA spoilers, but I think you're also underestimating how difficult it is for someone to come up with a large number of cards that all fit with Orb as well as all the information that we have confirmed so far. Generally people who would even want to do that are not smart enough to pull it off. :p

I would just be happy that we finally have stuff coming out.

ahhhh @___@ it's been a while. XD I almost forgot about this place, I've been so busy. XD

@Wrath of Dog - thanks xDD yeah, I don't watch the anime anymore, and personally I only like the manga when Sasuke's around, LOL.

@bristol - thanks for the comments. x3 I don't play to do art professionally, this is mainly for fun. :p Also, when I do make money from this, it's usually from selling prints at conventions, and then anime style is perfect. XD (actually, in that regard my style isn't anime enough xD)

    @U Legacy - ahhh, that I didn't do. That's just a pic that I favorited on deviantart.

And yup... not dead. x3 just distracted. XD

So... I've done a lot of new stuff. XD

Actually, recently I was bored and made a video with a LOT of random images http://youtube.com/watch?v=eP0R2yJNmk0 (not all new though). If you're interested.

and here's some stuff that I've done recently that I like. Smile

trying out a super shiny style

trying out painting from dark to light with a single shade

    more of the shiny

trying out... this style. HTK-ish face style, I guess? but not coloring XD

@tneill: I'm pretty sure she uses a tablet. That's an alternative to the mouse where you have a large pane representing the screen and a stylus that registers as the same input as the mouse but that you use like a pencil.

Indeed. Some people do use mice to draw on the computer, but I wouldn't suggest it, as it may result in you going insane. :p

    There's not even 100+ programs...

at best, there are like four you might want to try out. Art Rage, Open Canvas, Painter, and Photoshop. And both Art Rage and Open Canvas are downloads that take like a minute. :p

I don't remember? Art Rage is just very limited in what it can do for you. It has a free trial, you can check that out. Actually most of the programs you're asking about have free trials.

  • posted a message on Painter 9 and Other Programs
    Uhhhh...

From what I remember... Art Rage doesn't have layers. So it mimics traditional painting in that way. It's a lot easier to do pics if you have layers, even if you only use two (one for lines/sketch, one for colors). There are also other things not so great about ArtRage, like severe lack of functions. ;O Like I said, it's fun to play around in, but no one (or very few people) really uses it to do serious pieces.

Open Canvas is a lot easier than use than Painter, period. Painter gives you more brush options, and is more customizable. Open Canvas is better for linework (in fact, probably the best program to do lineart in) and has addition layer, which essentially makes your picture shiny. ;O Painter is a larger file, and I don't use it because it lags for me.

Okay, in the end, it really doesn't matter which program you use. Like I said, Open Canvas is the easiest to learn, but they all take around the same amount of time to master. (even photoshop! OMG though it sux)
