This isn't spam, and neither are all those Farmville invites and messages about how they bought a new cow or planted a tree or whatever, right? And black is white, and up is down
There's a difference. When the game send out notifications to your contacts saying you just got level 3 Pig Knights that's spam but when you share a link that shows up on your news feed and then goes away after all your contacts post pictures of their new socks, that's not spam.
your scratching their back by spamming everyone who has you added as a facebook friend with nonsense they dont care at all about, or are already a dedicated consumer of
im glad you think this is ok but you only have so much social capital and spamming all of your contacts with ads is a quick way to use it up
But you're not spamming your contacts. They aren't asking you to share it 10,000 times. Your thinking is saying that it's also bad to make an event for an organization you're part of and then share that page with Facebook to let people know about it.
Wizards could post a preview card that is only unlocked when 2000 different people strip naked and tattoo themselves with "Buy Hasbro Products!" and dive onto the streets in the middle of february to fight to the death with broken beer bottles, and there would still be people here that would support it as a clever initiative to reward player interaction and spread free publicity and a true scholar's service for the community.
And there would be at least one post in the thread, bashing on anyone who brings up questions of 'ethics', saying that those people are just complainers and suck, and that its strictly upside and you don't even have to participate in it and you get to see the preview and their marketing its god's gift to mankind.
Wizards asking us to jump through hoops and do their marketing for them for free is one thing, but you insisting we *like it*, that's another. Naw, every time they pull a stunt like this, I'll be vocally opposed. And when they do something right, I'm vocally supportive.
Okay now you're just being facetious. There isn't anything wrong ethically by having someone click a button to get something in return. It's a "You scratch my back I'll scratch yours" situation. It's not like they are going to start sending spam to the people how shared this. There is no exploitation here, no one is being unjustly used and there is no mistreatment here.
I could just be missing it but in all of the angel art there is the collar in one way or another except the last piece of art. It really could be nothing, just something I noticed.
So I'm planning on putting Burning Wish in my Ashling EDH deck and while trying to come up with a side board for cards to use I came across Beacon of Destruction. My question is after Beacon of Destruction resolves where would it go? Would it be shuffled into my library or what?
Not trying to be picky but isn't this thread about the new commander decks and not about Karn? Wouldn't it be better to talk about him in the speculation threads? I mean you guys can talk about what ever you want I'm just pointing out that things seem to be getting off topic a little.
White haired dude wielding the SoWaP = Urza. Just saying.
Okay Urza is dead. His head was cut off and used as part of the Legacy Weapon. Even with old PW's ability to shape their body how ever they wanted and also regenerate parts of their bodies I still don't think he could be back. I know that they are going to coming up with some crazy ☺☺☺☺ just so that Karn can be a PW again after he gave up his spark in the Time Spiral story. So as coll as it would be, probably won't happen.
That was in the Sliver deck. IMO, it will be either Child (with non-baby art) or Progenitus. Child is the more fun general, and desperately needs better art, but Jennie is more "awesome".
I think you mean Sliver Overlord. Sliver Legion was not in PDS: Slivers
I'm actually going to take back what I just said. After checking the Official Reprint Policy it states:
Premium Cards
A previous version of this policy allowed premium versions of cards on the reserved list to be printed. Starting in 2011, no cards on the reserved list will be printed in either premium or non-premium form.
Well seeing as how the reprinted Karn in FTV relics I'm sure they will be able to print a card or two from the list with out anyone getting all frazzled
I have a feeling that we might see Ixidor, Reality Sculptor. He's just one of those dudes that was important and would be worth bringing back, but that's just me.
The thing is though that not everyone here has a facebook page and I'm sure they are just here lurking in the shadows waiting for it to get spoiled.
