Shadow of the Past is probably decent, but my cube is so chock-full of good sacrifice support cards that I'm already cutting support cards that are easily superior to it. I'm seriously doubtful it's good enough.
I think I even like Viscera Seer more...as the only thing the sac-deck lacks is more good cards that sacrifice. We have plenty of stuff that benefits off of creatures dying as it is. On that topic, I like Blazing Hellhound. It's unlikely to crack the coveted 2 card guild slot for me, but I think it deserves more discussion than it's getting. It is a shame it can't sacrifice itself.

It's so obvious to everybody that Monastery Mentor was pushed to be the money card of the set just to make sure people wanted to buy it.
If you don't like limited you might not like this set.

who cares what vanilla i call them? just pretend the word vanilla was something else and actually respond to the vanilla ARGUMENT not a single vanilla word i said. especially a vanilla word that doesnt have a vanilla definition in the vanilla dictionary relating to vanilla magic the gathering.
please wise vanilla ones, vanilla what can i call creatures that dont have game changing abilities and just have keywords on them? since apparently something so little means so much to you.
Black Lotus is a vanilla creature. Deadbore is a counterspell. Artifacts are lands.
Dungeons and Dragons is an operating system. Baldur's Gate is a magic card. Experience is reasoning. Reasoning is experience.
Who cares about terms and what they were agreed to? I drive a vanilla car every vanilla day to my vanilla work so lets all enter outside and google at the bedroom.
Semantics? Is not vanilla unimportant. I define how I vanilla my words. I vanilla the definitions to the words I vanilla. Vanilla? Vanilla can mean whatever I vanilla.
4 previews and all of them just vanilla creatures.
Niv is not vanilla playable, but could be fun with vanilla Replicate.
Dark Confidant is a vanilla creature.
Niv + Gigadrowse is way better then Niv + Shattering Spree - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I bet you that the people that made the game and a lot of people close to them have a lot of original product and that is why the reserve list will never be rescinded. There would be nothing in it for them really.

The format hasn't changed for the worse. See, this is the resistance to change I was talking about. Delver put up 2 copies in the top eight. I don't even see Treasure Cruise in any of the other top decks playing blue, let alone the feared Dig Through Time, which some have claimed is just as broken. And buddy, your beloved pet Birthing Pod won, what a laugh, get outta here.

Please keep mainboarding Anger of The Gods so you're knocked out round one and I don't have to face you round two.
