I haven't heard anyone talk about Fanatical Offering. How does it weigh up against Village Rites and especially Deadly Dispute? I feel the low cost on Rites and the treasure token on Dispute are both better than this one. Is it worth running a third?
I think I like Poison Dart Frog. Sure, it gets removed more easily than something like Armored Scrapgorger, but holding a Thryx, the Sudden Storm or something big like that off late-game seems slightly more valuable to me than becoming an average-sized beater in the mid- to lategame. It also trades reasonable well with stuff like Flickerwisp or the various 2/1 flyers that draw on etb.
I think it's a cool design, but I don't think I have room for it. Also, in our environment, it will probably not tap for colours you like, or you should have it exile your own cards. Entering tapped is a bummer, too. Not to mention scenarios in which you don't have anything to exile.
Thank you for this, Calibretto. And I apologize for any inconveniences caused by my formatting, but as BrownDog5117 said, I too enjoy tinkering and adding and removing cards. But I will try to remember to title my blogposts haha.
I like Cenote Scout, but I'm not sure if I like it enough. The flyer Spyglass Siren seems nifty, too! OK blink target.
Spring-Loaded Sawblades Craft seems like an interesting mechanic. Nice to see it is at uncommon as well. But I think this particular one is a bit too much work for too little payoff.
Regarding the first question, no. You can only suspend from your hand. Wish says 'play' rather than 'cast' to allow you to play land cards.
Restore Balance always has a mana value (that value being zero). You cannot cast the card with Wish I believe, since you can't pay a cost that isn't there, since Restore Balance has no mana cost. The important distinction here is between 'mana value' (formerly converted mana cost), and the mana cost of a card (the printed symbols). As Foretold and Brain in a Jar allow you to cast cards with a given mana value, and doesn't care about the cost. I am not a judge, so someone else may be able to explain it more clearly, but I believe that's the gist of it.
I'm not sure if I want a second Monstrosaur, or that this one just replaces it.
Other than that, I think the 5/4 trample alien with battlecry is also solid. Casting stuff from elsewhere is a tough ask, but if it only triggers once it is okay, I think.

What do you guys think of this card? A big, multipart Heroic Reinforcements seems pretty neat. What would you classify it as? A Boros card is my first thought.
So... I don't know if it is just me, but I added a lot of cards for commander masters. I haven't been able to test much, but how have the new cards been for you guys?
So uh... We just got a downshift in the bonus sheet, oddly, and it's Dark Tutelage. So... I am going to assume the tempo is still too bad for it to be playable in our environment, but still, it is an interesting downshift.
Dwarven Hammer. Having a better equip cost, and coming with a body is stronger than the Boar always being a body, I think. Also has the option of just being a 6 mana +3/+0 and trample, where the Boar has to pay a hefty 8, whereas the 8 mana mode on Hammer gives you a 5/1 with trample, which leaves the equipment behind even if it eats removal.
Immediately being 'an equipped creature' definitely has merit, too. Cards like Akiri, Fearless Voyager and Reyav, Master Smith care about equipments being attached to creatures. Even with cards that reduce the equip cost I think the hammer is better just due to versatility.
I also like the new Picnic Ruiner. The 'distribute a number of +1/+1 counters' cards are often not good enough, but having a creature stapled onto it makes it more interesting, I think.
Regarding Gadwick's First Duel... I feel an important part of Witness Protection and similar cards is that they turn off abilities, which Cursed Role does not.
Thoughts?
Bartolome del Presidio seems pretty nuts.
