This is nuts. Does Google really think that using its name as a verb hurts their company? I mean, they should be proud that their company has become so popular and widespread that they've infiltrated every aspect of everyday life. Same with Photoshop.
The problem is that it does hurt their company. If "to google" ever becomes generic enough that it refers to searching the web in general, not just to using their search engine, then Google will lose their trademark and other companies will be free to use the term. This means that search sites could call themselves "GoogleIt" or "DoGoogle" or anything like that. A totally unrelated company could come out with a product like "GooglePaint" and ride on Google's success. These things are definitely damaging to the company.
I did my own laundry first when I was 10 or so... my parents were always very eager to get me to do stuff on my own (so they didn't have to do it), so they offered to pay me to do it. This setup didn't last very long, though.
You know those cards; the ones you love when you have, hate when you don't, and cost you a lot of investment money when they get banned. The medium is, once again, an animated banner. The rules are the same as those in Week 46, but the filesize limit is instead 500kb.
This week's theme was Legends (the set), with the additional caveat of creating a multilink banner. Remember, three votes per person, anyone may vote, artists may not vote for themselves.
I'd be up for stickying a weekly wallpaper thread. I'd rather not do the running of it, though, so if someone else wanted to do that, it would be cool.
This means that everyone should post!
