I just put this back together from Page 6. I'll be testing this again. Not sure I see anything new that I want to use, but I wanted to revive my ideas.
I like this. One or two people I have spoken with are planning to try out Skysovereign, Consul Flagship as a shops based attacker. It stands to reason that this is fine as well. I would like to come up with a list for shops as that's my usual MO in vintage.
The trample is nice. The toughness isn't, but is the same as the much feared restricted Lodestone Golem. Worth a try?
MUD's learning curve is easily manageable. It's no more about remembering triggers than it is about learning timing and the whys of the deck construction itself.

I like it. The version of shops I play has the full grip of Tangle Wire so that helps at least. Every little does.
That being said: Power creep and Magic: The Gathering is 23 years old this year. I understand.
I got no solutions, I ain't a game designer, only a cube designer.
I ordered it wrong, but my entire post was about Fleetwheel. I personally think it's better than Skysovereign.

I guess both Ulamogs are as near hate as I'll get but I don't mind people playing them.
Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and Eye of the Storm. I love it in my mU Edh deck.
Edit: I missed the bit about modern section, sorry!
