I like the idea behind the list. But I can't help but wonder what the real purpose behind the deck is. RUG Twin gets away with playing Goyf as backup simply because Goyf is low-cost (in terms of requiring additional dedication to be good, not CMC) and it gets the random bonus of playing cards like Ancient Grudge. Whereas this just seems liks a bad Twin deck and a bad mid-range deck slapped together. That said I don't think it is bad, just needs more focus.
On that same note, the best aspect of white is it's hate. Specifically it's enchantment hate. Ofcourse Wizards screwed us over making Pilgrim only fetch auras but there are plenty of good auras to find. Already mentioned was Chain to the Rocks. Another good option is Sun of Wheel and Moon for random graveyard decks. But that isn't really what you were going for I don't think.
As far as building around Collected Company Man how frustrating that only half of the combo is summon-able. But despite that I think any W Build should take advantage of Restoration Angel. Resto+Kiki is perhaps less quick but is much more versatile and inclusive of the alternate beat down strategy. For example why not run Blade Splicer in place of the Loxodon Smiters. It doubles as a solid beater while also benefiting from the ETB from Resto and Kiki.
Just some food for thought.
I fully agree Lucky. I'm just trying to support his idea and see if there is something that can be done to make it playable. It is definitely weak in comparison to the blue counterpart. It has trouble getting to the combo.
@TheRogue smiter is cool, but you can probably find other ways of getting rid of siege rhino and tasigur. Smiter still requires something additional to get it there. Maybe you can add a gavony to help the walls just block.
Edit: Path to Exile is your best answer for siege rhino and tasigir. I believe Selesnya Charm works too, but it might be too cute. Advent of the Wurm is an okay answer too, but it nombos with collected company. At that point you can consider siding it out.
Yeah, I can definitely see it as a slow card. At most, it would be a one of, since the requirements to get the token are high. Are you mainly packing more discard against Anger of the Gods? This 1 card has been the sole reason I'm playing a Bant version of Humans that is giving me good results.
Have you guys considered Teysa, Orzhov Scion as a possible 1 of? Works well in this type of deck. I'm not sure if you felt the need for a little firepower as well. I wanted to test Skirsdag High Priest as well.
I just jumped into modern and wanted to try something different. I've been toying around with running Humans. I've seen a lot of attempts, but felt something was lacking. Here's what I ended up with.
I initially started with G/W like most of the decks I saw. I ran Garruk Relentless to pair with the Mayor for a little synergy. I later came across Phantasmal Image and felt that it could possibly work here in the blue version. Descendants' Path became weaker in the blue version, so I may swap it out. It helped me recover from board wipes and works in synergy with Mutavault to bring any creature in. I also thought Meddling Mage was a pretty good Human as an answer to cards I would have problems against.
5/20/14: Deck has been doing very well. Vial tricks are amazing with Phantasmal Image and Fiend Hunter. If piloted properly, runs very well. Might try Mentor of the Meek, but really hate the 3CMC. Boarding into the control route and dropping down to 2CMC creatures has worked very well in many match-ups.
I've been playing this version over at MTG Deals. So far it's been pretty fun. I really like Necromancy right now based off the ETB/LTB effects from the creatures where I may drop Fecundity from the list. Also the fact that you can do it instant speed and gain value from almost every creature. I haven't used the sideboard yet, so this is probably where I'd go with it.
Since I work at a card shop, I see a lot of different cards. Varolz seemed pretty interesting, so I went to brewing. I've seen the Channel Fireball deck and thought it was pretty cool.
Hello, I'm attempting to make a synergistic Myr Tribal deck. Since my meta has changed, I wanted to see if I could make a myr deck happen. I've tried not to turn it into another Sharuum deck or typical good stuff artifact deck(couldn't find a better way to describe it). I chose Sharuum since there is no Myr Legendary creature yet and the colors worked well.

Doomed Traveler + Cartel Aristo + Skirsdag for an end of turn token.
You can also play a Mentor of the Meek for possible card draw. Viscera Seer is an okay sac outlet as well that can sac itself.

That's what I thought too, but they were so animate about it being possible. So I assumed there may be something missing.
