This Deck was created to a format that my friends and I play that is a twist on the Alter Ego Planeswalker rules found on the EDH boards. We wanted to play an AEPW deck that wasn't EDH so we came up with new rules for it giving certain limitations to deck building.
Deck Restrictions
Primarily Monocolor
Only 1/2 of Non-Land cards can be Artifact and/or Multicolor
Only 20% of Non-Land cards can be Duplicates and/or Off Color
Only 5% can be Silver Border
Only 1 Planeswalker who must fit the theme to your deck and your character.
Your deck must be thematic to your Planeswalker Alter Ego (your custom character)
The Idea of this is to come up with a backstory for your own individual Planeswalker and make a deck around there style, here is mine for Dymagox the Grim Historian...

I generally use singleton in most cases with most my decks except in the case of grandeur, kindle spells, and ripple, so it creates for some interesting strategies on my part. I'm surprised actually how efficiently this deck has acted thus far and so far remains with a great winning record.
The choice of some of the cards may be questionable, but the idea around it is to get out one of the big baddies and swing hard. I pretty much have won a majority of the games with this using either Chainer (to pull out Kuro from the graveyard, or something just as big/important) or the Liege. Though Shade's form/Filth/Urborg has proven to be a very deadly combo.
The Purpose behind Shade's and Thrull Retainer for the most part had spawned from my love of the Totem Armor cards and my wish for them in Black.
I was going to use
Organ Harvest, but I figured that it wouldn't really be a useful enough card, so I am lacking my Silver Border choice, that and I wanted to be able to play this deck outside of my group.
All in all it is a fun deck and surprisingly steady and quick.
