I'm feeling pretty sure the entire spoiler is on there somewhere. First of all, someone at wizards would've probably said something along the lines of "My bad, conspiracy spoiler up this week". The big thing though is the urls for the images make it seem like the rest of the images are there somewhere. Each come in the form of "http://media.wizards.com/images/magic/tcg/products/cns/asdfsc3wfas234/" followed by a 10 character long alphanumeric string, followed by _language.jpg, and the 10 character string seems to be the same for each card across languages.
and just enough was changed on the jp image gallery to show the fact that the english copy of the card is actually there on the site even if it hasn't been posted to the spoiler. I know everyone just wants to see the spoiler, I do to, but I gotta say I'm curious just how wizards is expecting us to find it.
For rakdos charm's 3rd mode, "each creature deals 1 damage to its controller", does each creature dealing damage to it's controller count as it's own source of damage? So, say a leveled up Hedron-Field Purists prevent all of the damage if it's controller had 3 creatures? Also, in regards to triggers, would chandra's spitfire trigger 3 times or once?
So will wal-mart type stores be getting these. We don't have a local hobby store, and as of yesturday they still haven't gotten them in. I'd like to pick up one or 2 for the storage of the cards of mine not in binders, these fat pack boxes have got to stop.
The name of the next set, "Gatecrash", suddenly has meaning. Cool. I wonder about the story implications of the Gates. Also, Pauper and Limited environments are going to love these lands. There's a good bit of strategy involved with them, and they lead to more exciting and complex midrange games.
Detain is natural and flavorful as a mechanic. It's probably my favorite other than Populate.
Just beat to posting this. This has the possibility of shaking up pauper a fair bit, as with these they may make multicolor decks more viable.
Also, to the person freaking out about no signets, nowhere in the article that I read did it say there would be no mana rocks/signets. As was mentioned previously, the original ravnica had common lands too.
My opinion differs from the majority here, as overall I certainly prefer the beta client to V3, however to EVERYONE that does have issues with the client, let Wizards know. They can only fix things if you tell them you're unhappy with them and why it is that you're unhappy with it, and if possible what you think a better solution would be. Without a doubt in my mind, this is the entire reason they're having this trial run of the beta. To get widespread feedback about things before the next big changes. So again, if you have gripes, or would like to see things in a different way, this is your chance to get your feedback in.
Hey everyone, with the new set of planechase decks heading our way and bringing phenomenon cards along with it, I thought it might be a good time to discuss ideas on incorporating phenomenons into one of the popular variants of the variant.
A few ideas come to mind when I think about this. One is to combine them into a single deck and place them like a plane but after one use replace them with the top card of the planar deck. Another is to separate the phenomenons into one deck and the planes into the other and when jumping onto an unknown diagonal to resolve a single phenomenon before hitting the plane.
Those are just a few ideas and I'm sure there's more out there and I'd be interested in seeing them.
Well, kind of option 1.5, as IIRC they'll throw games to help push each other through. So it's not just a matter of training together, it's also a matter of directly affecting the results of others in the tournament itself.
I think the thing they're going to expand on is Fateful Hour primarily in other colors than white.
Was thinking something like this, but more specifically fateful hour into the "monster" tribe as the humans are exterminating them showing humans were the real monsters all along or some jazz like that.
You pay the 1, giving you the option to cast a creature card from your graveyard (as if it were in your hand) during that turn.
Should you cast that creature card, Havengul Lich triggers and then acquires all activated abilities that the casted creature card has. For example, if you used it to bring back Dimir Guildmage via the ability, the Lich gets both the 3U draw and 3B discard abilities until end of turn, after you pay the (U/B)(U/B) for casting the guildmage from your graveyard.

My favorite magic card is Precursor Golem. I love the design on it, most people just see his ability as easier to remove, but there's lots of fun stuff you can do with it too.
