I'm looking for what the rough market values of both a full set of 40 Revised duals and a full set of 40 fetchlands currently looks like. I'm selling not buying, and both sets would be sold in person, not on e-bay. Assume NM for the fetchlands and NM- (NM except one potential small flaw) for the duals. I'm aware that I can look up market values of all the individual cards then add them up and have a number, but I'm hoping for a bit more insightful information as to lot values. I'm also aware I could get more for them by selling them individually. Any help you all could give me would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance :).
I bring this up because if he had a cold, and didn't cover his mouth all those times he coughed, its incredibly rude. However if it was a disorder because of something he couldn't control then its a different story.
Also.
I've watched a fair share of these videos and this is the only time I've seen someone cough like this.
Nice try though, thanks for playing.
So now you're implying that people with mental disorders do not have the capacity to comply with societal mores and customs? Regardless of how able or disabled a person may be, the do not want/deserve your judgement/pity. And if you think ableism is a game thayt can be won or lost, welcome o the 21st century.
I really don't understand the point of a question like this, any conversation that stems from it is liable to amount to speculative character flaming or disability-phobic childishness. The fact that you would imply that a person has a mental disorder simply because of his behaviour under the lights is honestly shocking to me.

ok, actually sometimes people don't even see it coming.
yes, much of the dust has settled and wotc now knows what power limits are in cards, but who would've thunk that ernham djinn would be nerfed by imperiosaur?
did you ever see the alara tri lands come into being printed? will having enough "comes into play tapped" cards and a functional reprint of amulet of vigor make for a stable "comes into play tapped" deck? if it happened, the tri color lands could be better than duals. ok, not strictly better, but still.
would they print a card like
3uu
counter target spell. you may exile a multicolored blue card from your hand instead of paying cardname's mana cost.
yes force is not reserved but from survival to fauna shaman, you get the idea
so, who knows?
I fail to see any examples here that prove your point.
Assuming it's even a legacy relevant example, Imperiosaur looks worse than the Djinn because of the heavy mana restrictions it places on your deck.
Relying on a card that does nothing in your deck but untap your come into play tapped lands automatically makes your deck strictly worse, unless it's a functional reprint the costs zero and allows you to draw a card when it enters the battlefield.
Force2 is almost strictly worse than Force, the difference between a blue card and 1 life and a multicoloured blue card are astronomical, Force2 could never even be an inferior substitution for Force in the current meta, or any likely future metagame.
Fauna Shaman doesn't even come close to the power level of Survival. Pros - 2/2 Body. Cons - Easier to kill, summoning sickness, one use per turn.
Blind speculation about power creep is not a rebuttal to the fundamental principals of economics. Card prices fluctuate based on the laws of supply and demand, period. Claiming that Wizards will 'inevitably' creep cards past power levels that they have acknowledged were mistakes adds nothing to the conversation.
Wondering if anyone out there as a true idea what mis-stamped Guru lands like this one are worth today. I'm 100% sure of it's authenticity, that's not what I'm asking, just wondering what the market looks like for them these days. I know an Island like this sold for $525 on E-bay BIN years ago, but that was before the Guru price boom, and I'm told there are several Islands out there, but no mountains have surfaced. Any help is appreciated :).

So it turns out the guy was a scammer, the mutavaults were fakes. Wasn't too happy when I called him out on it and took my cards back either. Lesson learned, if it seems too good to be true, it typically is. My only question is, what do I do now? I was contacted by him through Kijiji (Canadian Craigslist) and now I have his e-mail, name, and phone number, but I can't really prove that he knew they were fakes. Do I put up an ad warning other Magic players or just let it slide and move on?
Made this trade last weekend, don't regret it, but curious as to what other people think.
Pile A:
Foil Gristlebrand
Foil Razorverge Thicket
Foil Copperline Gorge
Foil Glimpse the Unthinkable
MPR Cryptic Command
NM- Tundra
NM- Tropical Island
NM- Plateau
NM- Moat (English)
About $100 of <$5 rares
$180 Cash
Pile B:
Ancestral Recall (EX+, Minor whitening on the back edges, nearly completely clean on front)
NM- Savannah
NM Polluted Delta
NM Flooded Strand
NM Mana Drain (Italian)
So is there any real reason a mountain should go for much less than this? My understanding of misprints is that they are valued for their rarity, and while mountains are a "less desirable" land, it appears much less of these have hit the market than islands.
Buy or sell at $500 privately in person?

How exactly will they inevitably power creep duals, gaea's cradle, karakas, etc.? I didn't realize this was the baseless speculation thread...
