Whats the best event deck still in standard at the moment? Primarily in terms of viability but also in terms of monetary value? Sorry mods if I misplaced this post not sure where it should go.
My favorite card is my foil Grand Arbiter Augustin IV. At the time I got him I was playing my first commander deck (Progenitus) which due to a nooby mana base was a complet failure. After switching over to the Arbiter I got my first taste of control (a deck type I've learned to love) as well as the ability to win a game or two.
Seems like the other posters in this thread want to Jedi Mind trick each other more than their opponents.
Anyways, one of my favorite "mind tricks" is just simply holding back some lands in my hand and leaving some lands untapped. Many times my opponents out think themselves and make play mistakes like not playing certain cards or not attacking. Obviously an oldie but goodie.
I've even went as far as saying,"let me know when its your attack step" or contemplate tapping a mountain with my fingers while asking how big my opponent's x/x creature is.
Might as well get rid of it if your not going to play it let alone like him. Im not sure if hell go up in the future but he's at a pretty good price right now. Ild trade/sell him away.
So two reliable sources confirmed hook to be a return to ravnica and then a more reliable source confirmed that it most definitely is not. Obviously the two credible sources were not try to make us believe in some hoax, they must have seen or heard somthing to make them believe hook is a return to ravnica. My guess is they saw a card or cards from ravnica in the early stages of hook. Not sure if this has already been discussed and if so I apologize to the mods in advance.
