I'm sorry if I've worried you and am thankful for your concern.

And it did indeed seem like Freud just often made broad generalizations based on his own feelings, rather than a genuine understanding of how the human mind worked/adapted/responded in any given scenario. -
Oct 4, 2007JollyTheOctopuss posted a message on New Advancements In Fatal Self InjuryJa, with livejournal you gotta make all the suicide notes vague like Kurt's. That way you can write it off as bad poetry or what have you, if things don't go through.Posted in: JollyTheOctopuss Blog
Where as here you can go as far as giving specific details of how you want your funeral arranged, where to donate your organs, who gets to keep all your stuff. And with no risk of coming out with egg on your face! -

I personally think most fetishes, or just any desire in general comes from simply seeing or wanting those things we don't often see or have.Posted in: JollyTheOctopuss Blog

I love them and the elves flavour wise. Heh, I like that the elves are all conceded and what not, I thought that was cute.Posted in: Alacar's Design Zone

I like it a lot! it just goes with everything Fairies are about. The clique thing, countering non-fairie stuff, and the prankster kinda stuff.
Super well done! -

And celeb-colonics!! Wasn't it Katie Couric who had her hyper-colonic treatment aired during the halftime show? Was I the only one excited/confused/aroused by that?
Ugh, I'd love to see your celeb undie collection. There's just something about famous stains that gives me a rush!
I totally feel ya on the pork BTW! Salty meat makes me feel human again.
Always a pleasure hearing how things are going. I can;t wait to see you again. Sweet Times to you hon! -

Still though,I heard a lot of people weren't so into the whole "I was pulling out a long black rope" thing. So maybe it should be called something like "Single Action Cleanse" but have a lil disclaimer like "Dual Action for Lovers Cleanse" with a lil face next to it.
I love subliminal messages like that and I think it would help sell this already amazing product. -

mmmm,Shrimp Whip. Sea Food Slavery and the cold fish grease that cums along with the job.
I'd love just slapping people aboot with our shrimp whip. And then tying them together with said whip.

Sep 24, 2007JollyTheOctopuss posted a message on Getting to Know MeYou do look really fab btw. All this talk of Shrimp makes me imagine what it would be like if we had shrimp for toes.Posted in: Why Hello
Would our shrimp feet move us around without our conscent, or would they be linked to our nerves in a way where we'd be able to control their motions and in that way control how we move.
I mean really, toes aren't a far cry from shrimp. -

And you have the most amazing avatar I've ever seem. I'm way jealous since before this I was the most glamorous cat on the boards.
I like your style, a lot. I'm not sure what the magicoughouse is, but it has a nice name. And some part of me want to be some part of it. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
Holy crap! I've never heard of anyone who had a 1000 of any one card! That's pretty damn neat!
I mainly collect Shared Fates I've got about 50. I use to collect pestilences but I got bored after they stopped printing them. I had about 300 or so.
I guess my GPA would probably be something like 0.2, is that possible?
What are some good cheap creatures that would actually be worth running. I see 6 open spots right now. Leonin Skyhunter is cool, but i can't see running him unless I had some cool thing like Jitte or SofI, wich I dont think im running enough creatures for. Maybe Sofi, what with the birds, ehhh, I dont know.
Any help would be hot.
I think this deck is slightly neat, but I know it needs fixing. A better kill condition perhaps. Im sure theres lots of cards im overlooking from Betrayer's and Saviours since I've been kind out of out of magic what with losing lots of cards and getting into Yugi.
Heres the crappy deck:
3 Birds Of Paradise
3 Plow Under
4 Ghostly Prison
4 Yosei, The Morning Star
4 Pristine Angel
3 Creeping Mold
2 Rude Awakening
4 Sakura Tribe-Elder
3 Pulse Of The Fields
4 Eternal Witness
12 Forest
11 Plains
Basically just a average controllish deck. Im also trying to take advantage of the whole LD aspect of the deck though with Plow and Creep and Ghostly Prison.
Well any help would be sexy, thanks.
When i do eat meat though, I prefer fish, but I dont often get to get it unless I can steal it from the super market. Sushi is my favourite indeed. I always look forward to eating it, it's totally pum.
Vitamin water is nice as well. Its like the clear fresh style of water, with flavour and vitamins, isn't that awesome! Everyone should indeed drink it. I sure hope they dont have a mind control subtance in it though, sometimes I worry that they might.
1 Rude Awakening
1 Beacon Of Tommorows
1 Cranial Extraction
1 Wrath Of God
2 Planar Portal
2 Panoptic Mirror
3 Oblivion Stone
3 Creeping Mold
4 Plow Under
4 Reap and Sow
4 Sylvan Scrying
4 Eternal Witness
3 Bop
3 Sakura Tribe Elder
4 Cloudpost
1 Swamp
1 Mountain
1 Plains
1 Bouseji
3 City O' Brass(maybe Tendo Ice Bridge)
13 Forest
I like this deck a lot, since I made it all be me lonesome and it's sort of okay at times. It plays well against T&N,MBC,and MUC. Sadly it's a bi for anyone playing Ponza or LD.
Basically the idea of the deck is to get out early LD in the form of Creep,Reap, and Plow. Between entwined Reap and Sows, and Scyrings, you should hopefully have a really awesome mana base, whilst your opponent has little to none. Then you use all that mana to play Planar Portal and either tutor for the appropiate kill, or tutor for cards that will help perpetuate the LD, like more Plow Under's and what not.
The mirror is in there sort of as a alternative to Portal, to either go infinite with Beacon of tommorows(Portal can do this too, yep), or do cool stuff with Plow Under.
I don't have a SB, since I basically never play tournies. But it would probably have something like 3-4 Sacred Grounds in it, and perhaps more Wraths. I don't really know what else, COP:red maybe?
I really like this deck, and it would mean oodles if people were to comment and suggest things since I want to bring it to FNM someday and try to win at least 1 match.
Or better yet, play me on appr, I really want to test this against other T2 decks! My aim is in my profile.
Thanks in advance.
It's interesting that we've brought this up. Just recently, I've read in multiple places, that people have described pessimism as "believing we live in the worst possible world". I've felt that was kind of a weak-hearted ideal of pessimism. A true pessimist would understand that although we do live in a horrible, cold, ugly and wholly evil world, that it's not the worst considering its on a constant level of decline. Tommorow will always be worse then yesterday, life will only get harder and be less fun, and theres really no point to even trying.
In my opinion, unless your born into wealth or a generally charmed life, theres really no reason to carry on living past 17-18 or so. From then, its just about getting a job you hate until your too old to do it anymore, then your forced to move to Florida to retire and just die alone and having never really accomplished anything.
I would love to lie to myself sincerely enough to become an optimist, it's rather depressing being in a state where you tend to be dissapointed when you found that your still alive each morning when you wake up, and having to just sort of hang around in bed for a few hours thinknig of a reason to get up that day. I never really find a good reason, but eventually get bored of just lying there and just go about my day moping around by myself.
I don't know, I would more describe myself as a realist. To me being a realist is understanding that pessimism isn't strong enough a word to describe your outlook on life. Realism is when you see that the glass isn't even half empty, theres just no water in there at all. And if theres is a liquid in there, it's most likely poisonous.
If anything, its the fault of the people who were fooled by it that they got fooled. The only reason I would imagine anyone would want to punish Tidwell for his act was because they were pissed off that they got let down.
It's not often I speak up for a tinger, but yeah, he played a good joke. If anything we should be giving him credit for it, not trying to think of how to get retribution.
As for the whole trying to get Wizards to put better cards in the core sets. Im actually all for it, once they don't print cards that by themselves can dominate a format, like Ravager or Tolarian Academy.
But yeah, awesome but not totally broken cards of yore would be really neat to see again in a core set. Maybe stuff like Counterspell, Geddon, FoF, STP, and just good cards that would allow a variety of strong decks to come out. Rather then they're just being like 2-3 main big decks.
So yeah, I guess I'd sign that.
That is where my name come from
These people are all beautiful to me. More beautiful then probably most of the other people on HotorNot. Certainly better then the ones on Myspace.
I also really liked Samurai Showdown, Tam-Tam was so hot in that!
