You know, I think it is just us. Hell, we're just about the only ones who use these wonderful lil diaries.
And we do need more peeps in here. There's just something wonderful about being able to get away with saying whatever the hell you want without fear of ugly red letters.
Tis good to hear I'm not the only one hoping to see more wonderful people on here. I need attention like that.

It can sorta give you a cyber-aneurysm reading through these forums sometimes and just listening to these kids flap their mouths about this and that.
IDK, it's a testosterone thing I guess. Always feeling like they got something to prove. Either that or they get screwed around with IRL all the time, and use the safety of the internet to vent their frustration and kinda just channel their feelings of inadequacy.
Don't let'em grind ya down. They'll grow out it, hopefully..... -

Of course, there's also the "Extended Discussion" which is closer to the debate section here. More serious discussion and what not.
That stuffs usually to heavy for my dumbass though. I stick to reading about cartoons and music. Which is also totally there to talk about. -

1st turn: Selfless Savior
2nd turn: Luminarch Aspirant
3rd turn: Conclave Mentor, Codespell Cleric as a 3/3 and Luminarch goes up to 4/4
The learn stuff gets more counters and gets you toolbox stuff. That's it.

Just like aggro, but like try to ramp a lot too and make a whole messa Scutes. The "Echoing Equation" side of Augmenter Pugilist can turn all the lil scutes into something big. Pugilist is cool with the lands. Play big Starnhiems. IDK maybe put some Ugins in.

Torbran makes the burn and aggro creatures hit harder. There's some cool plays like 3rd turn Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh. 4th turn ping with Chandra, play Torbran, ping again for 3, flip, hit for 4. Chandra, Pyromaster can Searing Blaze while Torbran is out.
Firey Confluence can be 12 damage while Torbran it out. Manabarbs can be really mean too and don't be afraid to mess with their lands cause it's fun to make people feel bad and not wanna play you.

Like the cool move is to use all the broken commander ramp stuff to get Vito out quick and tutor for or just play Blood Tribute for the otk or Exquisite Blood if you can do something to deal damage/gain life and make the combo go off with Vito.
Use removal and discard to keep the board clear and set the opponent back. There's a few other wincons in the creatures. Zuran Orb can turn into a lot of late game damage but you'll find yourself winning with the combos kinda often.
Infernal Darkness is something people always overlook and can a lotta times be a one sided armageddon against non-black decks.
Here's some decent gameplay of the deck.

I made this as sort of a joke but tbh...it's kinda working better than I thought.
Later Edit: Oh neat, so apparently Grimoire Of Exalted Deeds makes this WAY cooler!!

1 Doomskar
Hope they're not running a tonna enchantment removal and try and lock down all their stuff with white enchantments and mass removal. Cosmos Elixirs help keep your life up and give card advantage. They're def a big part of the deck.
Faceless Haven is one of the main finishers but yeah play stuff and try to kill him later.
4 Speaker Of The Heavens
4 Luminarch Aspirant
3 Story Seeker
4 Cleric Of Life's Bond
4 Righteous Valkyrie

3 Orah, Skyclave Hierophant
2 Legion Angel
1 Heartles Act
1 Banishing Light
B/W weenie-ish aggro. Vito adds a lotta extra damage and is great with shadowspear'd creatures. Hitting that 27 life isn't too hard.
I've made a bunch of standard decks recently and they're all kinda the same tbh. So fun though!
4 Speaker Of The Heavens
4 Luminarch Aspirant
4 Starnheim Aspirant
4 Youthful Valkyrie
2 Legion Angel
4 Righteous Valkyrie
4 Baneslayer Angel
3 Banishing Light
4 Faith's Fetters
Land: 24
4 Radiant Fountain
20 Plains
4 Feat Of Resistance
4 Light Of Hope
4 Shatter The Sky
2 Legion Angel
1 Banishing Light
Righteous Valkyrie is super cool here and it's not too hard to get to 27 between earlier Radiant Fountains, Speaker Of The Heavens attacks and Righteous gaining life.
Starnheim Aspirant sets up some really cool plays where you can play like a Righteous Val and a Baneslayer turn 4 and be at 27 cause of Radiant Fountain. Attack for a bunch, have Speaker create a 6/6 angel and gain you 6 more life. Multiple Righteous Vals or whatever. Starnheim Asp is just really neat.
But yeah, mono white mid rangey kinda flying aggro.
Here's what I got so far.
4x Banishing Light
2x Castle Ardenvale
3x Faith's Fetters
2x Legion Angel
4x Luminarch Aspirant
18x Plains
4x Righteous Valkyrie
3x Shadowspear
4x Speaker of the Heavens
4x Starnheim Aspirant
4x Youthful Valkyrie
4x Radiant Fountain
2 Nahiri's Binding
2 Legion Angel
3 Sigrid, God Favored
4 Feat Of Resistance
4 Shatter The Sky
Starnheim Aspirant sets up cool moves like dropping her and then next turn dropping like a Righteous Valkyrie and a Baneslayer or a few Righteous Val's or Youthful Val and a some Righteous Vals or whatever. And with Radiant Fountain, its not too hard to hit that seven extra life and get RV going for a bunch of power on turn 4.
My only gripe with standard isn't the power level as much as the complete lack of variety. At least on MTGO and Arena there's only 2 diff decks you'll see. Witch's Cauldron/Cauldron Familiar or U/G Uro decks. NOTHING ELSE.
I just wish people were willing to try something new rather than endlessly playing the same darn stuff everyone else is. I mean, im all for playing what wins. I totally understand that. But don't even they get tired of Uro Vs Uro Vs Uro?
4 Hateful Eidolon
4 Aphemia, the Cacophony
4 Starfield Mystic
3 Lurrus Of The Dream-Den
3 Archon Of Sun's Grace
4 Nightmare Shepherd
4 Dead Weight
4 Mire's Grasp
3 Pacifism
3 Banishing Light
9 Swamp
7 Plains
4 Godless Shrine
4 Temple Of Silence
Some cool synergies are the obvious stuff like aura removal drawing you cards with Eidolon and being recursive when Lurrus is out. Starfield makes stuff cheaper and gets bigger as you kill things with auras. Aphemia can make tokens from the auras in the grave. There's a lil contrast between Aphemia removing auras and Lurrus wanting them there but generally speaking it hasn't really been an issue and I def find Aphemia to be worth it.
Archon works with the enchantment theme, and Nightmare Shepheard is a decent lil creature that's also an enchantment and can be made cheaper by Starfield Mystic.
That being said, I'm still sure there's stuff I could change. So im happy to hear any input. Much thanks in advance.
I just watched a kinda cool video on standard MBD (Mind you, this came out after our cool decks) and I REALLY liked the idea of Nightmare Shepherd and overlooked it at first. You can sac Gary to Ayara or Witch's Cauldron if you're running that and it would copy Gary and set off a second big damage effect. Pretty darn cool. I ended up taking out Spawn Of Mayhem for the Shepherd in my personal build.
Here's the vid if anyone's interested.

3x Alseid of Life's Bounty
3x Transcendent Envoy
4x Starfield Mystic
4x Setessan Champion
4x Archon of Sun's Grace
4x All That Glitters
4x Banishing Light
3x Conclave Tribunal
4x Mantle of the Wolf
3x Calix, Destiny's Hand
Manas: 24
4x Temple Garden
4x Temple of Plenty
8x Plains
8x Forest
Kinda like an aggro enchantress kinda thing. Setessan Champ gets big fast and draws a bunch of cards. Starfield and Envoy make stuff a lot cheaper. Mantle Of The Wolf and All That Glitters makes stuff big and can be pretty cool with the lifelink guys. And Calix is some pretty cool card advantage and removal.
Always happy to hear feedback and stuff. Much thanks in advanced.
2x Tymaret, Chosen from Death
4x Ayara, First of Locthwain
4x Nightmare Shepherd
4x Deathless Knight
2x Erebos, Bleak-Hearted
4x Gray Merchant of Asphodel

3x Drag to the Underworld
4x Murderous Rider

21x Swamp
2x Blast Zone
1x Castle Locthwain
4x Duress
4x Witch's Vengeance
3x The Elderspell
2x Finale Of Eternity
2x Agonizing Remorse
Those Eldraine 4cc guys are suuuper cool with devotion. Deathless Knight is pretty cool in here for crazy devotion and there's a decent amount of ways to get it back and it's just a cool beater.
Nightmare Shepherd can do cool stuff with Gary too since he'd copy it and set off a second big hit. So with a really good curve of turn 3 Ayara, 4 Shepherd and 5 Gary. You can sac Gary to Ayara after playing him and get in that other big hit.
The current deck I like literally just sorta made off the top of my head, so it's kinda dumb. But I basically wanna work with the idea of gaining cool effects from playing cards on the opponents turns and cool instants. Here's what I got so far.
4x Brineborn Cutthroat
4x Brazen Borrower
4x Naiad of Hidden Coves
4x Wavebreak Hippocamp
3x God-Eternal Kefnet
4x Opt
3x Chandra's Pyrohelix
4x Risk Factor
3x Repeated Reverberation
3x Ral, Storm Conduit
Lands:
4x Steam Vents
4x Sulfur Falls
8x Island
8x Mountain
I like how Naiad works with stuff like Brazen Borrow and Risk Factor. Like being able to bounce something and play Borrow for 3 mana or play 2 Risk Factors for 4 mana. And you can do cool stuff like drop down a surprise Cutthroat for 1 and follow it up with other cool cheap instants to have a big surprise blocker and stuff. That's like the main focus.
The Ral and Reverb thing is kinda goofy, but I thought maybe Reverb into Risk Factor might be cool. It's kinda "Magical Christmas Land" but technically if you could use Ral's copy ability and then play Reverb and followed by a Pyrohelix for a bunch of damage (would that be 20 or am I counting that wrong?) or a Risk Factor for some mix of damage and a bunch of cards or whatever.
Kefnet might be dumb, idk. I just kinda threw him in there.
But yeah, I do like the basic idea of trying to do cool stuff with instants. Any input or suggestions is always cool.

1x Jungle Hollow
1x Command Tower
1x Overgrown Tomb

Just like midrange control sorta thing with creatures and removal and stuff.
