Figured Id post an update on the deck with some new tech that's come out:
Hardened Scales This card has been a perfect fit with the counter deck and has many interactions.
HS + Bounty of the hunt gets you 4 free counters (sick followup is the solidarity)
HS + forced adaptation gets you 2 free counters a turn
HS + spikes says 2:perm +1+1
HS + llanowar reborn: double graft
HS + ooze gets big in a hurry(add a rancor)
The deck is a lot of casual fun and still has the endless fog engine (spike weaver + forced adaptation) and can gain a ton of life if u have to sac a spike feeder(especially after a bounty+solidarity on the feeder)
Heres the updated list, let me know if u have any other broken ideas for it.
I would suggest the following creatures in your deck - these are definitely hard to kill:
Predator Ooze - When you cast him as early as turn 2, he can easily take over games especially when paired up with something like Rancor.
Dungrove Elder - In a mono-green deck, I think that he's a really good fit. Again, he works really good with your pump spells and Hexproof is really a pain to deal with.
Excellent idea on the ooze, comes out earlier than the centaur and harder to kill.
Going to cut 2 centaur and 2 regrowth and try them out.
I created this deck with casual and budget in mind, I think the whole deck cost $25 or so. Seemed like an interesting idea I thought id share, any ideas?
the creatures are hard to kill and have a lot of synergy together, for example:
spike weaver+ forced adaptation=infinite fogs
spike feeder+forced adaptation=infinite 2lifes
simic initiate or any spike=auto hunger of the howlpack +3
solidarity of heroes can get nasty late game
I think you have most of the deck covered, some tweaks id recommend:
cut 2 zealots for the 4th leatherback and battalion
cut 2 vengeance and the 2 collars for 4 Bequeathal
maybe cut 2 forests for 2 treetop village
Heres a red ponza deck ive been toying with(along with a U/R build)When playing land destruction I recommend staying mono red for the more stable mana base with ports, wastelands. Crusher provides card advantage late and acts as the kill threat. Alternative wins would be some vise damage and burn em down. Tell me what you think

some cards that didn't make the cut: phantom nantuko, bounty of the hunt, Oran-Rief, the Vastwood, emerald medallion(takes it out of budget), and hydra creatures due to space.
what do u think?
works well with pyroclasm, crystal vein, sandstone needle, wasteland, stripmine; has some synergy with tremble, raze, forgotten cave, maybe someslagstorm. Keeps your topdecks live while getting bigger, all budget.
