Most of these look good to me. Like to see Chopper 5 legal in pioneer. Appraiser has been doing some pretty busted things though it seems like they would normally give things longer to shake out.

It's kind of a good rate, of course the rare version of this is Sheoldred (The third one without a subtitle) but the Gargantua is kind of alright. Good creature type, good power for cost. Kind of like a Fleshbag Marauder with an optional ETB.

Those snow-covered lands look great. Too bad you don't get a stack of each so you can actually use them.

Yeah, I would have to drop about $750 on those to get enough...

Order before the 27th and you'll get 10% off! Wink

The discount stops on Cyber Monday? That's a bit wild.

I'm not getting any of these, but I learned for the first time that Beckett is a woman, never really looked closely enough to notice last time

Grist, the Hunger Tide - Has a lot of synergies in the deck and is a pretty nice removal spell + value engine
Greater Good - your commander is cheap and potentially very big, and discarding permanent cards enables it
Smokestack and Grave Pact can be great value engines that keep the board clean
golgari grave troll is the dredgiest card
Sewer Nemesis is very big and mills you
I like that Life From The Loam is already in the deck. Definitely goes hard if you include Exploration, Burgeoning, and fetches in the deck, though that can be an expensive avenue of upgrading the deck.
The new Squirming Emergence card seems absolutely stellar for reanimating your Altar of Dementia or the like.
Finally I'd recommend Living Death and Bojuka Bog

Angel of the Ruins is also a great option if you feel you have to finish a cycle. Can do all sorts of things with it that you can't with the other landcyclers thanks to its artifact type. Honestly I think even Secluded Steppe is a better option than Eagles of the North.

Tomb Raider is kind of a dead IP in my mind so I'm a little surprised they'd go for it. Then again they did Ponies again. They really could just throw anything out there at this point. Garbage Pail Kids? Rygar? The Rolling Stones?

I'm currently very pro-bounceland in my commander setting. It's a lot of value with extra land drop effects or ketchup ramp, and not a lot of people want to fire off their strip mine on a land that just makes mana on curve in a multiplayer game, when Field of the Dead or Cabal Coffers will take over a game.

Bouncelands are definitely a lesson in virtual card advantage. It's pretty easy to translate a bounceland play into "I played a tapland and drew a card," but the same advantage is given when you play an Ancient Tomb. Not a lot of people will be able to identify an Ancient Tomb as card advantage when asked, they usually just see it as fast mana, but as long as you're willing to spend a card to put a land into play, spending a card to put two mana sources into play will make your card resources go further. In Legacy this mostly means you get to trim land count from your deck. In Commander it means your curve may be a little higher.

The Tribal/Kindred card type doesn't make any sense to me anyway, it should be a supertype 100%

    It's all Tarmogoyf's fault

i am playing fallout 4 and hoping this will be a card that interacts with junk token https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Junk_Jet_(Fallout_4)

I'm wondering if the Fallout 3 version was more memorable, or has a better name if they want to have a Jet card, but that's a great idea.

Or this kind person telling the "Latinx" (whatever that is), despite "not being one of them" why and how they shall be angry because of their "moment" being spoiled by "another big White dominated pop culture thing

Is Latinx just a way of saying "Latino or Latina or Latin-other?" To include all three in the same group. Traditionally you'd say Latinos to refer to everyone in the group, and that works, but some might reasonably accuse it of being sexist. Shrug

I agree that D&D rakshasa are different from the magic ones, and even though they are indeed shapeshifters, their true form is as a cat-humanoid. The Tarkir ones can really be anything they want them to be.

I think the reason "Tribal" is a problem is a little more sinister than you guys describe. People speak of tribalism and culturalism as a reason for why racism is perpetuated and why different cultures don't integrate well into the American system. It's a good discourse to have because we need people to come together and stop hurting each other, but not everyone is ready to talk about it, and certainly not during a preferably politically agnostic/neutral game of magic.

On nagas becoming snakes- They probably should have been. It would be nice to see Viashinos become lizards. Maybe some zombies and vampires that are clearly human can become Human Zombies/Vampires since we have Elf Zombie/Vampires, Cat Zombie/Vampires, etc. Just more consistency would be great.

I think you could cut the additional cost to imprint and just return the spells to hand and you'd still have a powerful effect

You generally want dinosaurs to fight and not just bite, and this card is too underwhelming at 2 or 4 mana. At least he's uncommon, and you get to say "It's ya boi Quinth"
