Jul 2, 2019Kryptnyt posted a message on A New and Exciting BeginningI guess two sites trying to 'compete' is ultimately the best for us all. No shortage of Magic fans, and there is a shortage of polished card search engines / card discussion.Posted in: Articles

I think it might end up a very bomb-centric sealed format.Posted in: Articles

If there's flamethrowers in that game, it makes a lot more sense I guess. I still don't think Nazism has anything to do with cosplay however.Posted in: Articles

It doesn't matter if you convince the offending party as long as you convince everyone else. If you are advocating violence then you are automatically in the wrong.Posted in: Articles
Then again, maybe when you say flamethrowers are the answer, you're just joking around and people should just not take you so seriously. Do you advocate for Jeremy then? Because I don't. -

I think even you are confused as to which denotes an increase and which is a decrease, just look at some of those set summary pluses and minuses. Though the temptation to deviate is strong, you must overcome, and try the traditional red/blue out.Posted in: Articles

I don't really like seperating cards from the deck during the mulligan process, seems like cheating. Especially in EDH, a combo /sol ring format.
Yes. Yes it does.
The more reprints there are, the more this becomes a core set.
I could see Paradise Plume show up as a cameo, but not birds.
Trinket Mage
I don't think they'll reprint elves of deep shadow though. It was a clever reprint last time, but a reprint of a reprint is just too awkward.
Terrible in multiplayer. Sealed Fate costs too much mana to do anything of note. I'd opt for Second Sight first if I wanted a one-shot effect of this type.
I miss the old "if you satisfy the conditions on this baby, stand back!"
It would change the format in much the way Mental Misstep did but to a much, much lesser extent. There are plenty of established decks that do not benefit in the slightest from clamp. Unbanning a legacy playable card means people will play it, and I guess a 'warp' has happened after this, but I don't think its always a bad thing. Legacy would still exist.
I vote for Ezuri because he can really make games short as all getout. Seton is pretty good though.
Does have some merit though. His father was a farmer who could casually use magic to grow his plants. Shandalar's biggest feature is high accessibility to magic. But the first beast Garruk runs into is what appears to be an Enormous Baloth. Legions didn't take place in Shandalar.
Oh, ok, I see it now. It was listed under infractions so I thought it was an infraction this whole time.
I think if something of Skullclamp's power level were printed today, they would take their time banning it in standard, but wouldn't ban it in legacy for a long while. Legacy could handle Skullclamp because not every deck needs one when its legal... just a big number of them.
Funny you should say that everyone gets a warning, you guys infracted me right away for "image leeching" when I was brand new to the site without warning at all. Is that a "minimal tolerance" policy?
I mean, I'm not upset about that or anything. But you shouldn't say you always warn first when not all of you do.
