I never wanted to use howling mine simply because it gave my opponent an extra card before I was able to draw mine. Card advantage to me is everything. You could use Arcane Denial and take out the vapor snags, or just two, however you want to play, which would give you and extra card draw and your opponents draw two.

Just not a card I use. My two cents.

So you say that you love card advantage and you then suggest a spell that creates card disadvantage. Well played

Be glad something mind-numbingly hilarious hasn't happened? That I cannot do.

I'd recommend Balefire Dragon for this deck. The creature gets a lot better with haste. I've been playing a land-boom wanderer deck for a while, and its a blast. people don't get angry about it because they just die in three hits anyway so its not like a sadface moment where I just have all the stuff and they have none of the stuff like with Arbiter decks.
It is awkward to hit Devastation on the first cascade and Boundless realms on the second one but what can you do?

There are 3 Legends that cannot be perceived as a win condition since either have Defender or 0 power.

    Also Norin.

If you consider jelly beans to be candy (Hint: They are), then a fruit snack is really no different. Just squishier and worse.

For some reason your assertion that fruit snacks are definitely worse than jelly beans hit me right in the funny bone and made my day.

Anyways, yes, fruit snacks are candy. You don't ever grill a steak and toss on some fruit snacks for good measure. You don't put fruit snacks on a burger. However, you might eat gummi bears or sour skittles alongside doritos products. That's different. It's special.

When they legalize Black Vise in Legacy (and they will, probably someday soon) they will not be played alongside Howling Mines.
Remember, Vise checks cards on upkeep, and Mine gives you a card after that on the draw step. Streamlined decks will be able to keep below 4 cards every turn no matter how many mines are out.
Now, you can feasibly create an "Owling Mine" deck with vise and Ebony Owl Netsuke for two-headed giant. But that deck won't be a dryad deck, you see? You will be too busy disupting your opponent while keeping their hands fed. It's quite a doozy to operate.

Meh. Everybody who post's on this forum looking for consensus needs to read about self-selection and sampling bias. You're not getting an accurate readout on the majority of metagames because anyone who reads these forums are probably much "deeper" into EDH than 99% of the real-world EDH community. Heck, there are plenty of people who post here who have never even actually played EDH and love it, but how much do we care if you've never actually "developed" a deck for a meta? Anyways.

Group Hug is fine. Even if you're only wincon is Hippo beats, you've got a way to win. Plenty of ways to break symmetrical goodstuff, plenty of ways to punish too much land/cards/permanents. I get more annoyed with Stax decks that slow the game to a crawl to get their single wincon/hard lock out than Group Hug making us vomit our hands out. At least when Group Hug goes to Christmasland, the game's over on turn4 and we can shuffle up another.

Is the reason everyone on these forums hates Group Hug so much because they're addicted to Stax, and Group Hug kind of makes your deck pointless? Don't get me wrong, I love playing with and against Stax decks, but the kind of hive mind mentality that's showed up here irks me. If, however, you're playing WRB-Stax just because you like control but hate U, well, gods bless you.

Stax is more popular than Group Hug because it is occasionally a playable 1v1 deck. Group Hug is never a good deck to play in 1v1. A majority of Magic players have a duel mindset, even when going into a multiplayer game.
Also, Stax cards cost a lot more, so a stax deck is more pimpin' than a GH deck. I don't know a lot of them in my paper playgroup, but people on MTGO generally really hate losing to bad cards and may even harrass you about it sometimes.

I would cut all ties with Libya.
I would arm the Marines who guard the place.

But... this doesn't get to fixing the problem. Didn't we think that Libya and the US were cool?
Do they understand the consequences of killing an ambassador? Do they care?

Should we have cut off all ties with Texas when Kennedy was shot? I don't think that a few people represent Libya's general attitude. I'd have to do some research on the average Libyan's reaction to this before I say "Cut all ties." Are Libyans everywhere going "Oh crap, oh crap, we're gonna die, they're gonna nuke us?" Are they apologizing? Are they bragging? Their reaction to this is more important than ours.

Their clothes are to expensive anyway.

Whenever I pass Hollister or Abercrombie in the mall I give it a wide berth. It smells awful there are naked dudes everywhere.

Unfortunately that's not always the case, as illustrated here (posts #13 through #15). This was previously the cause of a large amount of confusion and disagreement, so I thought it prudent to explicitly clarify the issue here.

It didn't result in infractions, though, right?
Sometimes its just a reminder of something that goes along with existing rules, but when they make new rules as they go along, they usually bold red so people can see.
But what do I know? I'm just an unfrozen caveman lawyer... I don't think that they have a rule somewhere that says that they have to do that, but it helps a lot.

Should he be worried that some psychopath is going to try to exact vengeance on him?
Just seems like the kind of thing we used to fight wars over.

Mutilate does seem bad. Maybe Mizzium Mortars? I also think you'd be well served with more creatures in the deck.
I wouldn't play Liliana here. I wouldn't play her in most monoblack decks, but definitely not here.
