Phyrexian Totem is one that beats serious face. Ever see the blue player try to counter your mana rock? It's funny.

It's difficult to slam Liliana on an open board, because her -3 kills her. Her ultimate is not exactly backbreaking. I think Tibalt has a better chance at a short time in standard than Liliana 3 does.

Probably the best course of action is playing CounterRat, but Supreme Verdict can't be countered. Duress seems alright.

plus assorted cards and a mana base.
Your biggest problem will be Babar's Grandpa.

Can anyone find any information on the company? When I google wildcat intellectual property holding all I get is the court case.

EDIT Here's their card game http://unitcommand.com/index.php - The site is copyrighted in 2010. It looks like a pretty awful game. I doubt that they'll be able to shut down MTGO, but are their any lawmages here who think that they'll get money out of Wizards?

At the bottom left of the page... "Members: 920" "Currently there are no members playing the game"
Guess that means they've got time for frivolous lawsuits!

I don't always play them, but they're really good in a deck with green. Just plop in Exploration and Burgeoning and you'll be playing like you had a Sol Ring in nearly every game, even if you didn't. It's a lot of fun to grab the reins of the game in the early stages and turn 3 a Multani and start wrecking people really fast.
Anyways, these lands create a sort of virtual card advantage. They work that way until they see a Strip Mine, but hey, strip mining a bounceland is kind of a weak turn in a 4 player game unless you absolutely have to.

Who plays Plow Under in EDH?

It's the best card ever in Wort, The Raidmother. Plow Under, Conspire, Increasing Vengeance, Conspire, flashback Increasing Vengeance, Conspire... season with Rain of Salt.

He has the potential to be a great sideboard for the zombies mirror. Trading counters for their guys seems really good in theory, I think it warrants testing if you see a lot of this mirror match. Replacement for Gloom Surgeon that follows the tribal theme?

Don't be afraid to take cards like Chainwalker and Cackler in this kind of shell. You don't have to be balls-to-the-wall but early pressure is good.

I kind of like it. I do have some problems here, though.
Why is Cavern of Souls in the sideboard? I don't think you should have much problem mainboarding it, and each sideboard slot you open up makes room for more planeswalkers against the control decks you'll be soft to. It all depends on how Haunted Fengraf has been.
Snapcaster makes your cantrip spells a lot better. Snap/Decay and Snap/Slip is pretty sick.
I don't know about Gravepurge, but as a one-of it can't be that bad, right? Still, you have so few creatures that a lot of the time it looks like it will only be a raise dead. 2 mana is a huge difference.

I love all three, but French Toast is the best thing since sliced---
I mean, I really like French Toast.

I think a deck like this wants to have more answers to Rakdos's Return. Seeing your hand and planeswalker get owned in one fell swoop is not a lesson you want to learn the hard way. Syncopate and Negate spread around through main and side should do the trick.

But Snapcaster Mage shouldn't have been blue, shouldn't have been red either. He should have been Denying Channel.

He can deny channel all he wants, its the only thing stopping me from going turn 2 Emrakul and i suppose that's fair. *ba-dum-tsh*

In a deck that wants to remove Geist of Saint Traft before he does his thing, this card is definitely good. It's nice to not be just dead to a turn 1 Pilgrim turn 2 Geist.

One of the nicest things about this card is that it combos with multiple copies of itself in multiple ways. You can drop a token and pump it immediately, or you can pump an opponent's creature and exile it. This doesn't seem good at first, card disadvantage and all that, but it makes it a great Snapcaster target when you hit part of the mana curve, and it makes the charm more versatile than first glance.

I think people are getting a bit away from the topic, which is the suggestion that blue gets all the powerful cards. Which just isn't true. If you want to count Delver - which is powerful, but by no means broken on the JTMS level - then you should also count cards like Cavern of Souls, Bonfire of the Damned, Thragtusk, Restoration Angel, Bloodbraid Elf, Valakut, Primeval Titan, the Swords of Herp and Derp, Batterskull, Umezawa's Jitte, Tarmogoyf, Dark Confidant, Path to Exile, Skullclamp, and so forth; and let's not forget that half of the banned duo of 2011 was Stoneforge Mystic, a white card that relies on colorless cards to be broken, and that a solid portion of what made that deck good was Squadron Hawk, another white card.

Naming colorless cards as examples of where design wasn't biased towards Blue is kind of ironic, since these cards (batterskull, Wurmcoil, Jitte, Swords) do things that artifacts used to be unable to do. Suddenly the blue deck is removing your creatures, gaining life, untapping its lands, making you discard...
They've done a decent job at Blues color pie in recent years but colorless is... shall we say... completely undefined? Colorless basically does everything it can to aggressively cover blue's ass, but when it comes to destroying enchantments as a favor to red or black, everything seems to fall short.

With that said, I also haven't heard anyone raving about Plague Wind. You're the first person I've seen link the card in these forums.

    I meant that semi-sarcastically but it's a 2 dollar card, c'mon.
The fact that plague wind is uncastable at 9 means that Alpha Brawl is slightly less uncastable at 8. Brawl seems nice in a sort of Mana Flare deck

I think it all depends on what you planned to do with an Alpha Fungusaur. Sometimes you just need to pimp out that Fungusaur deck.
It's a nice collection piece as an alpha rare but it doesn't go further than that sadly.
