Indeed fate and fortune have roshambo'd you these days Mr. G. I hate hearing that things have gone so south lately. If you ever need someone to vent to and the forums/blogs aren't cutting it, then hit me up.

Nov 30, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on Is it a good idea?I'd be all for it, but then again I contribute a blog a week roughly since I started. Maybe this kind off thing would bring the added attention to blogs and such. I don't know the specifics on this or how best to set it up, but I think you may be on the cusp of something good Mr. Pizza.Posted in: Post-it.MtG

Nov 25, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on My Renewed Faith:embarrass:Not to claim what you say is untrue, but I haven't seen any griping and such about the contest. I'm not the oldest person around here in the least so I haven't been privy to this stuff. Do people actually get upset over this? I was happy to even be nominated.:embarrass:Posted in: {bloggyG}

Nov 22, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on Inspiration Via LucasThank you Alacar. I informed the people working on the signature about the change. I think I got the quote from imDb, so I thought it would be correct, but now that you mentioned that, you are correct. Thanks again.Posted in: PolarBearGod Blog

Welcome back to the game pet snake. I hope you enjoy the forums. Good blog but really hard to read in that lime green text. -
Nov 16, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on D'awww ShucksAhh ok, you must have found my Star City stuff. Yeah, my whole hospital experience thing was a major change in my life. I used to be a pretty good player, but my declining health doesn't permit me to travel like I once did, so I started to play in just local events. My ranking took a beating, but I was happy to just be out and playing Magic again. MTGSalvation also gives me something to do, which I'm very thankful for.Posted in: PolarBearGod Blog
Thank you Galspanic. -

Nov 14, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on Soltera Preview: Run Kobolds, Run!That looks great in a rendered frame. I'm glad you could use it. Also, Galspanic colored it, I just did the linework. Regardless, it's a nifty design you have and I hope you do well in the contest.Posted in: Alacar's Design Zone

Nov 14, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on More ArtworkThat's fine by me. Just make sure and give Galspanic proper credit for coloring. I did the linework - Richie Proffitt. I'm not sure what Galspanic goes by other than, well Galspanic. I'm glad you like it and make sure and show me your entry if you don't mind. I'm curious to see what it looks like.:DPosted in: PolarBearGod Blog

Nov 13, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on More ArtworkI use pen to draw in...sometimes pencil, but very rarely. I've been drawing since a little kid, but I guess I didn't really put effort in until high school. Thanks for the remarks on my pivture. I appreciate it.:)Posted in: PolarBearGod Blog

My oh my Catherine! Look at you getting all absolutely amazing on us with that Crucible. Excellent work and VERY creative too. Definitely one of my favorites from you FOR sure. Keep up the excellent work!:)
It looks like my Isamaru head combined with the Shiv volcano in the background from the Teferi playmat I did.
Tighten up your borders. Look at the works of the best alterers in this thread and you'll notice one consistent thing about all of their works. They always keep their lines clean. The key is to make the cards look and feel as though they were designed in the way that you've altered them. If a card was designed in this way you definitely wouldn't see random markings in the text box area or title bars.
I mention this, because it's the one glaring thing that arises whenever I see an altered piece. Well, that and color blending.
With that said, keep the art coming. i love seeing new alters and I love to see who's willing to take the next step up and raise the bar for everyone!:)
It's going to be okay:rolleyes:. It's just a news post and not the end of the world. If it has been posted elsewhere prior to this, then obviously it didn't gain much attention where it was at. In addition, when I posted this thread, I clearly stated that I "believe" they were made by Ultra-Pro and in no way, shape, or form, clearly say that they were indeed a 100% "for sure" Ultra-Pro product.
The first post on them was titled Prerelease Playmats on March 27th. Within that thread there was a link posted to a site that offered the mats. Nowhere was there an image attachment or spoilered images for people to view outside of the links of THESE mats. On top of that, it was IN the Rumor Mill section and in the middle of a thread about the Shadowmoor prerelease playmats. Obviously they're not rumored.
I appreciate you adding extra information to the thread about the nature and origin of this product, as I'm sure the many individuals who were previously unaware of this product, appreciate it too.
Wow! THAT was just amazing! Can you please tell me the name of that opening track of music that plays and/or send it to me. That was just stunning! Excellent work and welcome to the boards!
Do you do requests? lol
Yawg! That Skullclamp is DOPE! I love it and I love the fact you created it on a foil too. Excellent placement with the art and everything. Great job!
I'm usre they'll be available soon. I know of one location that has them here. I would assume Star City and other such places will have them soon enough. As for the size of them, I'm not sure. They claim to be "extra large" play mats, so I would assume at least as large as the past play mats, based on that alone.
If I come across a definite size, I'll post back here and update this post if there are no new posts.
