Born in Norway, Roland was sent to Gabriel High School as part of his training to one day follow his parent’s footsteps as mercenaries. His background is a little sketchy due to the secrecy of his family. But what we can tell is that he is the only child of the current leaders of the world famous Wild Geese Mercenaries (who were recently restructured after the death of their former leader and most of its members in a recent job in London).
He started The Warriors of the Midnight Sun after joining and then disbanding the previous “Wild Edge” group, The Poor House Soldiers. He claimed he did this because he wanted the “Wild Edge” group to be his and reflect his nature. There was some resistance when he first did this, but now it is pretty much a dead issue.
He has been actively seeking to become president, as he has been unsatisfied with how the council has been run since his joining.

Due to the support he gave Roland in setting up the new group and his unique abilities Roland was more than happy to give Gabriel the title of vice-captain.
Roland and him have grown extremely close over the time since The Warriors of the Midnight Sun was founded and have what could be called a brotherly relationship. One incident of particular note is when Gabriel was accused of “improper and unsolicited” relations with a certain girl who remained nameless of her own accord. Gabriel was only found not guilty of any wrong doing based on the testimony and backing of Roland.

I entered and made a card on the other thread far before the deadline.
