posted a message on The Greatest Persuasive Essay
This is a persuasive essay. Disagree? **** you. What could possibly make you think otherwise? There is no reason at this point in the essay to believe that this is not a persuasive essay. Do you just start reading essays assuming the author is wrong on all fronts? That's quite cynical. No, this is definitely a persuasive essay. The reasoning behind that is quite obvious; just look at the very definition of a persuasive essay. It is, not surprisingly, an essay that tries to persuade the reader of something. This is an essay, and it is trying to persuade the reader of something. What is that something, you may ask. You're in luck if you ask, because I have the answer. This essay is trying to persuade the reader that this essay, is in fact, a persuasive one. Now if you continue to doubt the persuasive nature of this essay, you might as well doubt the very existence of life itself. This essay is so blindingly persuasive, that even in complete darkness you'd need to shield your eyes. Still in doubt? Then you should also doubt that your IQ is higher than 7. There isn't much hope for convincing people that at this point still need convincing. But since this is a persuasive essay, it must attempt to do so.

There was a poll taken of one million English teachers in 2009 that asked whether or not they believed this essay to be persuasive. All agreed except one, and she was fired from her teaching position shortly after, and she admitted to failing all her English classes in grade school. How she even got to be an English teacher is beyond any of the staff members at that school. Apparently all she did during the class period was go over the alphabet, and she constantly forgot which letter came after "S". The most professional essay writer in the world was also contacted and she was in complete agreement that this essay was a persuasive essay. So, coming from the experts, this essay is indeed persuasive.

Another undeniable study was conducted, and it showed that 100 kittens die every time someone reads through this essay and disagrees with it being persuasive. How terribly awful. This is yet another reason to agree that this essay is persuasive. The poor English teacher that was fired is now facing serious legal charges against not only the education system, but also animal rights. You don't want to end up like this lady. You should definitely agree with this being a persuasive essay.

This essay is 100% persuasive because it is trying to persuade the reader that it is persuasive. You cannot deny that. Logically, this is a persuasive essay. It even has fancy things persuasive essays have, such as a hook, pathos, ethos, and logos. This is a persuasive essay. I might even go as far as saying this is a GOOD persuasive essay. This is an essay and it is persuasive, or at least attempts very hard to be. And looking at all the results from many data points and heavy analysis, this is DEFINITELY a persuasive essay. You should agree, there is no reason not to.

Hello, Tom here, creator of the very first primer for Modern D+T. I see there is still a link to it in this primer, which makes me happy.

Also happy that there are still a lot of the same cards in modern versions of this deck. I haven't played magic or been on this forum in years.

Kinda unhappy that this deck is Tier 2 now, but I guess the meta isn't as combo-oriented as it used to be.

Just stopping by, keep up the good work and love for D+T.

    We shall rise again.

He's bad with Goyf and he's bad in multiples. The only impact Tasigur can make is the same as what he's made already.. 1-2 of them in some decks. He is a 1-2 mana 4/5 often which is good, but his anti-synergy with stuff like Goyf/Bob makes him worse.

I'm surprised people find him much easier to cast than Gurmag Angler, but I'll take their word for it.

Good work Sheepz and Dr Worm I guess, for helping take over the thread.

It seems to be in good hands. Smile
