As these are the only lands that fit alphabetically in modern. We can assume no Panorama, because they are not in the set. Emeria is part of a cycle. So either encroaching wastes, evolving wilds, or exotic orchard.
Personally I believe it will be the orchard due to the sheer number of bouncelands we should expect to play.
I wonder if this could go into the Jeskai Ascendancy combo deck. Turn 1 this, and they are basically playing spells to untap make mana and draw. This would get counters quick, trigger ascendancy when cast, and be able to attack. While it doesn't benefit from ascendancy's +1/+1 clause, just casting spells does give it the +1/+1 in the form of counters. You could have that big beats really quickly in that deck and the power boost stays over a few turns unlike the bonuses of ascendancy.
this might be the card to push that deck over the edge
It seems to me like this card should be asking WAAAAAY higher than a $2 presale price. Big multicolored set with powerful critters seems to scream this splashable removal hitting a solid $8-10.
Put the top four cards of your library into your graveyard, then return a creature card and a land card from your graveyard to your hand.
I see this card being pretty exciting. Getting back fetchlands and creatures, without targeting the graveyard, while fueling the yard, could be very fun.
Pair this with Sidisi for some type of G/U/B midrange in modern, maybe adding eternal witness, or with Deathrite Shaman in a shell with it in legacy.
At the very least it is going in at least 3 commander decks I have.
I always felt like "Whenever this creature deal damage to an opponent, you may draw a card" should have a keyword. It's on many card and it's long to read and explain.
I have been trying to buy matching sets of foreign basics for commander purposes, but I am having a hard time finding websites with large quantities of basics available.
I prefer old card face sets like mirage, tempest and saga but the only site I found that has the quantity I want in German wants 63 cents per land. this is unacceptable for the quantity I require.
I am looking to buy in the neighborhood of 100-200 of each basic land type, and would love to get the basic lands in batches of at least 20-30 of the same art.
I am not exactly picky about language, although I would prefer one of the European languages, as I can read them.
was I the only one whose first thought was "I pre-ordered my playset for $3 shipped"?
The key is the word target, instead of target creature you control. IT is completely new territory for them. they costed it highly in case it is too powerful.
Mana fixing is always powerful. The artifact lands also power up your other cards.
Emeria, the Sky Ruin
Encroaching Wastes
Esper Panorama
Evolving Wilds
Exotic Orchard

All basic lands are colorless.

Personally, I just ordered 16
Liliana is Ravi Sengir.
Ovinomancer would like a word with Ya'll.
It has been blue since Visions.

I vote for thievery or theif as the keyword.
required by state law in most places. they have to honor the price when it comes back into stock
exactly. that is how they are balancing these.
T-chinese for the record
Foil mutavault
chandra
burning earth
scavenging ooze
tons of $3-5 cards
Part of me wants to sit on it and wait for value, but another voice is telling me there isnt enough appreciable cards and I should just crack it.
Considering chinese foil mutavaults are like $300, I can see the appeal. Hell, nonfoil ones go for $30.
Opinions? Thoughts?
Just thinking of the young pyromancers, duresses and naturalizes, along with 36 chinese basic lands makes me really lean in that direction

Any ideas?
