Now this is just an idea I came up with a few minutes ago, so bear with me.
What if we had two teams of, say, 5 people on each side
BUT
They do not know who their teammates are.
Instead, they post their move to the GM, and the move chosen the most that turn is the one that gets used.
However, if there is a tie like so:
Pawn to d4-X
Pawn to d3-X
Knight to a3-Y
then whichever move reached X first would be used, if that makes any sense.
I'd call it Secret Ballot Chess, or something.
Would this be something people would be interested in?
I'd make them lift the ban on sending sealed product overseas.
A box from ChannelFireball or other American online store: $90-$100
A box from my LGS: $220
You get one rare per booster pack, and a few in precons and the like, but mythic rares can be found in roughly 1 in 8 booster packs, and in the Duel Decks, like you said. If you add foil cards into the equation, then you can get more than one rare or mythic rare in a pack, though it's not very likely.
At least we found out what one hand clapping sounds like.
But yeah, I probably should have picked up on it too. Sorry everyone.
The official rules probably should have a parentheses next to all the C gestures though.
The game in question was produced by a studio beginning with E that is a synonym for a musical group. Not the name of the group, but what it is categorized as.

I'm in, also. Methinks picking 17 is the best idea at the moment.
