    Okay, so this is my take on KOTH B/R Control that Im looking at building!



    Grave Titan??? Am I missing anything else???

    Not much need to level Kargan when you can Sarkhan him! Grin Teeheehee

    What do peeps think? I'll still build it no matter what, looks like fun, Plus KOTH is my fav Planeswalker...but surely this decklist could do something??? :p

    Yeah definitely what I was thinking, will need to get me the KOTH's and dragonlords and test! But I'd personally run 4 Koth, 4 Dragonlord, dunno about skinrender main, I'd bring inquisition/duress in, slagstorms, keep sarkhan to 3, mimic vat yeah maybe keep those, 4 sign in bloods, the rest is fair game...could be a nice take on BR Control taking heed of what KOTH can bring us! Attacking with lavaclaw reaches and random mountain every turn FTW! Lol also good excuse for me to get a playset too hahaha!

    Why doesn't anyone try a R/B Control? Ya hit it on the head there really...4 Koth, would need more mountains, so switch it up? Run 12 Mountains instead? Utilizing black like we do with red now...GFtT, BSZ, Inquisition, G.Titan, the rest can be red? I'd miss Gatekeeper though :(...I don't have the KOTH's but could the invertion of the 12 swamps to 12 Mountains work if we want to run Koth/Dragonlord/I.Titan?

    Anyways, having a blast with this Archetype

    Rad! Just won my first FNM! Haven't been playing for long which is even better! Buuuuut, lol not many top competitive decks in my meta, there is a caw/meow-go but it wasn't playing today, first round was a by for me, then I versed a G/R/W ramp/RedSunZenith thing, beat it down no worries 2-0, muck around game afterwards he got it going and beat me lol...next was red kuldotha goblins, I won 2-1, the game I lost was down to 2 or 3 life each, he bolted lol...only 8 players, 3 rounds...still, stoked, missed the last like 6 fnms waitig for cards to arrive lol, then to come in and win, yeah I'll take that! Will post decklist soon!

    PS - Ran it without Sarkhans, got 3 on the way which is why I dint run them :p and can't wait to try them, but it runs consistently without! B/R Control FTW!

    So where's this deck up to lately? Been a bit since anyone posted? This deck is looking great, im just about finished mine, will be running a Percy build...I havent been able to play tournies for a while so I'm unsure what to add game play wise. Some talk in MBC Dev about adding red, so just a reminder to peeps about this decks thread I suppose!

    Really thinking of building this deck! One question...Whats the best way to use Sarkhan? Depending on if you have a creature to sac, would you use his 2nd ability first, next turn deal 5 then use his first ability until he's all used up?

    So how many Black Sun's Zenith should be run? I'm about to pre-order probably 3 (2main and 1 sb?) or is MBC just gonna run 2 MB? I'm gonna be running B/R Vamps and MBC now, they're just look too good to not play! 4 Go for the Throat, 4 Gatekeeper and 4 Percy is just awesome now!

    Hey All!

    Been reading this forum for a while and REALLY wanna build this deck! My two fav decks right now are Boros and BR Vamps, my kinda decks! Anyways, could someone tell me the main combos/tricks/how to get full usage out of such a great looking deck?

    I'm just starting up magic (long time tcg player though) so if anyone wants any wow, vs or dbz (score) tcg stuff to get my magic needs rolling, check my trade list! I have a little bit of magic too...

    Cant wait to play this deck!

    This seems like the defenition of a deck that plays no good cards and is relying solely on synergy. Probably not very good.


    This could be some fun indeed! Instead of going down another coloured path, see if the metal heads can help out? Gonna look into this build...

    Dont get me wrong, I know when to play a hand even without a quest, and I have won without it. I know the advantages of the Stonegforges, BUT in my opinion, it really didn't do much for me, the amount of times it easily gets pinged off before you get a chance to use its tap ability and have an equip in hand that you now cant use...lol...i dunno, you can keep using them, but for me, wall of omen is staying and I'll probs end up splashing something soon...

    P.S. - My meta is full of RUG, MBC, UWR and the likes and its always changing....anyway, without flaming on me, im just stating how my past few fnm's have gone, ive gone really good, and really bad, today was one of those bad days...so, i'll keep trying and bring back those wins!

    Lol on the other hand, I've just come over from wowtcg and am just getting used to everything and not the greatest player but, the deck plays itself really, just bad draws and mana screwage and not being able to deal with later turns when most decks are stronger at that time is annoying! Lol, oh well drinking beers and playing some more magic with my mate at mine now! Magic and beers = awesome!

    Played my fnm today! Wall of Omens over stoneforges rocked, buuuut, would have been better if I drew better hands! Man...this deck is in-con-sistant!!!! Went 1 out of 3 rounds, against infect (2-1), rwb control (0-2), white ally's (1-2)...yeah small turnout lol...but the past few tournies when the quest comes online it's awesome of course and wins most of the time when it does, but the other times I mulligan every hand unless I can use it...yeah really thinking of splashing blue or green...really like the deck, but if you dont get the quest online it's so hard to stabilize
