I am a little confused as to the exact benefit of mana dorks to your curve. most lists I have seen so far have more 2 drops than 3. When your dork untaps on turn two, you are on 3 drop. Dont you wait till 4 mana to play pod so you can pod same turn? Shouldnt the lists be 3 drop sweet spot? Instead of 2?
Sheet 3 has 27 boxes for you. One pack had a paper divider in it, and one box (column U) may have had its columns rearranged.
OMG this is amazing this should help A LOT!! I would be posting my 2 boxes, but unfortunately i accidentally left my notebook at my comic shop. Anywho thanks.
For anyone posting box information, it will greatly help everyone working on the map if you could post which sleeve each rare came from.
With this information we should be able to complete the map extremely quickly.
For example, you could mark each card with the first initial of the guild that the sleeve belongs to, (G.D.S.O.B. for the Gruul, Dimir, Simic, Orzhov or Boros guild sleeve.)
Or you can use anything to represent each sleeve (numbers if you want) as long as it is consistent through that particular box.
I have two more boxes on preorder, should be able to crack them tomorrow. Good job thinking of that, it sounds so simple, yet no one gave it any attention. Anywho, should I "Solve" the pack art pattern before posting. Or post as packaged.
deathpact angel replies to sweeps by leaving a 1/1 token on the field(you can sac the token anytime, which makes this card a beast)
You have to untap with the token and your opponent will have 6 mana too. It will be easily dealt with before your untap step.
Not to mention every deck that has white in it that doesn't run snapcaster has 2 rest in peace in the sideboard.
The program that solves the box maps? It's just a whole mess of code. It factors in all of the things we know about row shifting, pack removals and same-track card swapping.
Right now I have it locked in to our old track sequence to save time, but it can find a new one if need be with any number of tracks.
Thanks for getting us started. I've been home programming all day Saturday while the wife was out doing the prerelease event.
I was just thinking, would it be too difficult/not rewarding enough to develop this into your apps, in order to have a DYNAMIC path to opening the fewest packs to having the complete box mapped.
Also, is the data consistent enough to add support for opening cases?
I prefer this one. Thanks for sharing
Also here is a fun Misdirection:
Thanks, starting to work on some white stuff now. Here is a link to the Mediafire folder that I upload my alters to. MTG Digital Alters Folder
On a side note.... Are there any other active digital alter forums open? Preferably one with the search feature not broken.
