I'd personally try and jam TKS into both boards, and I generally like GB in unknown metas but the GB vs Mono green is entirely up to which the player feels more comfortable piloting.
On another note, is anyone else not really into swapping out the 4th o-stone for all is dust? For me personally, I really like the fact that you can slow down and/or pop an o-stone without tron online. Also, o-stone is a house against affinity and for that reason alone I'd rather play 4 just to shore up the MU as much as possible
I'm pretty skeptical about this "huge shrink" in the mtg community. If anything, I'd say it's really only relevant to standard. Modern and EDH are BOOMING, and the latter is something that would be extremely hard for a corporation like Hasboro to track actual numbers on.
Moving on from that, I'm curious what you guys think about investments in foil lands when comparing original/DCI/expeditions. I'm looking to move some money into this, but unsure what the best investments will be, especially when looking at things like
Foil OG Shock lands vs Expedition
DCI ONS fetches vs Expedition ONS fetches
Thoughts?
As sad as I am to say it, I think the Expeditions are better long term. Since I loved the way that the foil OG lands looked, I bought a BUNCH of them when my unbanning specs prevailed, but now I wish I had just gotten Expeditions, now sold them into the spike and gotten the ones I wanted all along. I could have had a lot of extra funds.
That's sort of what I was thinking since the DCI ONS fetches really haven't gone up much in the past 5 or so years. It's surprising to me personally since I also like the older art but I guess not everyone has the same nostalgic feeling.

Burn is really on slightly unfavorable, especially depending on your board. Game 1 I hope to draw into batterskull or tutor for wurmcoil. Game 2/3 I personally find TKS to be an all star in these MU since it dodges destructive revelry and redirects damage from your face.
Also its important to note that game 1 you should play chalice @ 1, but games 2/3 play chalice @ 2.
I wonder what you guys think of 19 lands vs 20 lands? I've been doing 20 lately in GB so I can jam an extra forest but I'm not sure if it's correct. It's great for games where I'm trying to make drops turns 1-6 to hardcast tusk or wormcoil but I feel like I'm also drawing to many of them a lot of the time.
Well it's a little past the point of speccing on it, it already spiked to 20$ and is now sitting around 10$. Seems like a sketchy investment but that's just my personal opinion
In regards to cardstock, just posting to say that M25 seems just as bad as the sets before it. I left non foils sitting on my kitchen table and the next day they were slightly curved / warped.
Top end Masterpieces are taking off. The time to buy is almost over, I think.
It'd be really nice to be able to open this thread and read stuff like this rather than these exceptionally sensationalized books about the fall of Magic
Tried out Jace, The Mind Sculptor the other night and it felt really bad like I thought it would. Didn't have any synergy with out primary card draw thirst for knowledge and on top that we don't really play the bodies needed to put in front him like a nice goyf
Hey everybody ! I've been testing this deck lately on cockatrice and having a blast with it. With prices spiking so hard on a lot of modern cards I'm considering selling off a bit of my collection to invest in it.
The deck feels sturdy as a rock and I'm just curious where you guys feel it struggles the most ?
I'm also curious why I don't really see lists playing harmonize. Seems amazing with the amount of ramp
Also, I would run a crucible somewhere in the 75 with the gifts ungiven

It's not dead, I think the community just moved to Facebook. Check out the group "Mtg altered cards and artwork community".
I have about 20 packs between the two sets from winning drafts and I'm curious what I should do with them to maximize my profit / value on them.
