i've always thought decks with griselbrand game 1 were OP because they run force and can turn 1 with ritual
mainboard blood moon decks are pretty successful too
PS
i've been very successful with enchantress before board, it use to be the other way around and thats why i fell in love with the deck because i felt that i hate much more hate than my opponent but those days are long gone. most people can't answer solitary confinement
why not run Tezzeret's Gambit instead of that crappy regenerate goblin to proliferate and for lack of card draw the 2 life should be a non factor if it triggers the enchantment vs control. maybe sideboard
i'd run 4 dig through time that card is banned in other formats for a reason, drop the crappy 7 drop. only thing i don't like about this deck is the small bodies and relies too heavily on random soft counters
too much empty burn to be a control deck, doing 2 damage isn't going to win the game even if you get to scry. the planeswalkers are cute but weak, where is Lily she is real control. missing dark confidant and the mardu charm looks super weak. i could do a half an hour of research and make a better decklist i use to play this in legacy RIP vindicate
voting for trump if bernie sanders isn't nominated. feels weird to want a Republican to win but they usually win the evangelical polls so its possible to have similar values, just hope the islamaphobia is limited, no immigration is fine i dont think anyone should come in regardless but camps are hell
as for my electrician job i still wish i could be a history major every day of my life and could stay inside in the heat/AC teaching children the Laws of Moses rather than debating about lineages and who the author of new testament books/epistles are.
This really sums things up.
Debating authorship and resolving conflicts between texts is a huge portion of what historical scholarhsip is. It's an honest collaborative investigation of sound questions.
Preaching the law of moses to children is the opposite of what historical scholarship is. It's the unthinking echo-chamber of unsound sources, bypassing critical thought entirely. It's the transmission of unsound answers, dogma - not historical facts.
any relevant credible rumors about the January 18 ban/unban yet?
I hate goblins and i still think Goblin Recruiter should be unbanned just to make them relevant again considering elves just got deathrite shaman for gy hate and reclamation sage what else do they even need at this point they get everything and have no problem turn 2ing people. Even with goblin lackey i see that deck get raped over and over and it's a shame considering the nostalgia. no legacy deck is like oh wtf im playing goblins the way they do to storm/countertop.
that being said any honorable mentions to add to the ban list?
*Blinks* What? No. No he is not the author of Luke. The author of Luke did not even live in the same century as Paul.
the lineage is result of a levirate marriage.
Both Matthew and Luke have different lineages for Jesus. Matthew's also contradicts the Torah.
Indeed, the birth narratives of Matthew and Luke contradict one another.
I've sinced quit my college education for an electrician position
That seems like a sound decision. I mean you no offense, but if you actually learned what you are saying in a history course, then the history course was a sham and you have been done a great disservice.
Matthew from Abraham to David is fact in the torah (+ruth because the torah doesn't go that far into the lineage, stopping at Nahshon i think) and is supported in the book of Chronicles and is restated in Luke. i'm confused as to that post and would love for you to elaborate. As for the authorship of Luke i may have jumped the gun but i could swear i remember reading that paul wrote it, i respectfully recant. as for my electrician job i still wish i could be a history major every day of my life and could stay inside in the heat/AC teaching children the Laws of Moses rather than debating about lineages and who the author of new testament books/epistles are.
You seem like you actually care to study what are your thoughts on the books of Malachi and Jude as literary works. i feel like they are the foundation of my faith. To fully understand those (takes 10 minutes to read both) is to shortcut/reference the rest of the bible.
You are not a history major. If you are actually enrolled in a program that calls itself history, then leave the program and demand your money back, because you are not actually learning anything that would qualify as history.
The law was given to Moses and is the most valued earthly inheritance.
Oh, do you have historical evidence for this?
You must read all the letters/books of Paul to realize they are primary sources.
Garbage. Some of the Pauline Epistles are agreed by broad scholarly consensus, some are controversial, some are broadly considered to be pseudopigrapha.
See, that's a thing historians have to deal with. People will sometimes write something claiming they're someone but it turns out they're not.
He explains the divinity of Christ and also explains how to not live in sin and a history of the lineage of Christ
Paul doesn't give a lineage of Christ.
(found in Matthew and Luke)
Lineages that contradict.
Paul is the author of Luke, the lineage is result of a levirate marriage. I've sinced quit my college education for an electrician position but i apply what i have learned and carry certain truths with me with no condemnation towards others beliefs
I'm not a legacy player, but I find the format fascinating and have been watching some of the recent SCG legacy events, and I've noticed that a lot of players (especially combo decks) don't play their lands. Why is this? There have been several matches that I've seen now where a player will sit for 3-4 turns on 2-3 lands with another maybe one or two in their hand, and I can't figure out why. It doesn't seem like you actually lose anything by doing so, and the extra mana seems like it can be very relevant when you're playing a mana-tight deck like storm, especially when you're playing around things like daze and FOW. Is this just a weird isolated thing and not a widespread practice? Or is there an actual reason for this? I'm very confused, and any insight would be very helpful.
today i held back a land for no reason but to bluff, he plays an Armageddon and i recover the next turn
Hey everyone I'm mike aka simic munkey I'm hear to toss deck ideas around and make a few mtg buddies. So what kind of decks do you like? Mines simic infect.
I play simic shorecrash mimic in pauper but selesnya naya bant Enchantress in legacy
serum visions is a garbage card, scry after you draw what a joke.
Accurately priced modern cards would include the tron lands and knight of the reliquary as they are both super affordable for a more than mediocre card.
it's funny when i just played a game vs pauper goblins on cockatrice that could give the primer decklists a run for their money.
in legacy my friend has thalia mainboarded after he copied some pros list
ps add cavern of souls to the primer it's unfair good with no downside really in modern to not run 4
