Hold on everyone. There's one thing we need to say:

"GOD I LOVE BEING A TURTLE!"

Actually, here's what we need to say: Tri-coloured PW? Gaping EEK!

Now on to something completely different.

    Chandra, Viven, Narset, Teferi

Year of boring PWs (for me) honestly

    seeing Calix and Elspeth was
    Amazing though and possible
    Kiora in Zendikar are promising

    I miss Jace. Vryn when

    Yoda, is that really you?

Anyway. That first mana ability is good, but for a plane that's *supposed* to be creature-centric this seems rather counter-intuitive. This is assuming the abilities are indeed as listed. We are around four weeks until concrete reviews start, so these kind of loose leaks do make sense even if they seem far-fetched or out of place.

Now let's see some of the mechanics dammit!

It’s not the first time we got a three color walker though if real anyway

This is the 11th one to be three color (well 6th if you exclude 5 bolas walkers)

Well yeah we've had a few but I was saying it's nice to see another one in a colour string we haven't seen yet. I was delighted to see all ten hybrid combinations for PWs in Spark, and I hope we'll get to see more tri-coloured PWs along the rest of the sequences that we haven't seen yet.

According to MTGStocks, there's been a run on Splinter Twin across its printings. Surprisingly the MM version is worth more than the ROE.

Maybe someone knows something we don't? We'll know soon enough.

Was there a Monstrous Compendium for Ravnica's D&D campaign stuff? If so I'd lie to see the one for Theros.

How much would an Urza ban help the format (Modern) as a whole?

Even if they did a Liliana version of this, they could achieve it with one of her middling cards, you still wouldn't get Liliana of the Veil.

Because Wizards acknowledges secondary. Which they are not supposed to do.

Hah. The Reserved List is an unofficially huge acknowledgement of the secondary market if there ever was one. If they didn't acknowledge (or care) about the secondary market, there would've been no reserved list.

    #justsaying

Both Thalia and Liliana are/would be fine candidates. Slinky seductress aside, Liliana could demonstrate the fact that she is a "troubled" woman who is being held against her will (the curse) trying to make things right even if it means going about things in a shady manner. Almost a form of glorified escape-from-"domestic" abuse. Thalia was witness to corruption within the church and escaped to destroy the lingering "evil" on her own will, going to whatever lengths it took to do so.

Begs the question: which is more deserving than the other? It's all relative for the most part.

    I'm happy with Thalia nonetheless.

People please just knock this BS off. No one is forced into buying this product and if they do then they shouldn't be ashamed of doing so. It's about preference and what makes you tick. You have no right to determine or decide what I like or do not.

    End of conversation. Next!

P.s: If I'm a pigeon then does that reserve me the right to fly over you and shat on your head? I think it does in this case Thumbs Up

They're all about sales tactics these days aren't they?

And what are we to do with these behemoth box toppers? If we collect enough will we get to build and play with behemoth sized-decks then? I don't think Dragon Shield makes sleeves that big...

Cool. Sign me up. Not so sure of the fourth art. Looks like, from that resolution, she's wearing 80s'-style rose-coloured glasses.

We’re gonna see New Phyrexia revist

Karn is going with Teferi and ajani

Ashiok is now researching/going to New Phyrexia from learning about them on theros

I don’t have the full details but I heard from someone in the throne of eldraine book on the magic mirror part it wasn’t just their dad they found in it a few planes and New Phyrexia was one of them and it had elesh norn on the throne as “mother of machines” and said Rowan and will are going and garruk as well since he swarm to protect them bring them back

There’s just way way way to many pieces falling into place to not get a New Phyrexia revist

Ohh so that's how it's tying together. So then I wondered how the story would unfold now given that the Eldraine plot was part of a larger role and wehre Theros fit in to it. I wonder how Zendikar III will contribute.

That said we can probably expect a Phyrexian-themed set in the start of 2021 either Q1 or Q2.

As a collector of feminine Magic art pieces (Startled Awake started it for me), I'm so getting this, although I'm bummed Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain didn't get in.

EDIT: Sisay is probably my favourite of the bunch, followed by Narset).

Guys this is just Onslaught and Legions probably mixed with Temurian beef again. We've seen this before. Magic's playerbase is diverse as is their interests.

"Can't please everyone all the time!"

I don't know about you, but I think Tiro has a bad case of the grumpies Thumbs Up

If this is a kaiju set then expect me to relive the moments of early Power Rangers episodes:

    "Magic wand, make my monster....GROOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!1111"

And to be honest the beast on the original art reminds me of a giant baloth about to stomp on Vivien.
Maybe this will be Onslaught II in terms of delivery. WHO KNOWS?!

I just knew I was going to hate this entire plane

    Why, because it's not Theros?

You know what, this could be a cool FNM format instead of draft. Imagine...everyone gets two jumpstart packs, compiles a deck with them, and smashes face over the usual round structure of a sanctioned FNM event.

I think that'd be cool to try out at least. What say you?

Avatarof: They tried that. It didn't work out so well. (I personally liked the two-set blocks but hey what do I know?).
