Imagine how that would work if someone had an Enter the Infinite in their graveyard for whatever reason. Whee?!

Rowan reminds me so much of a grown-up Little Red Riding Hood throwback.

I love it. Now c'monnnnn flanking!

Is there some way that I can specify which set I want the card I'm displaying the card art of to be from?

Like, if I want to show the card art of "Cave People" from, say, 4th Edition or The Dark, for example, but if I just do the bracket card bracket cardname bracket slash card bracket thing, it'll show the most recent (5th edition) version of it. How can I (if it's possible) type it in a way where it'll show the 4th edition version?
Yes. [card]CARD NAME|SET NAME[/card] is what you are looking for. For example:
    [card]Cave People|4th Edition[/card] yields Cave People.
    [card]Cave People|The Dark[/card] yields Cave People.

The image showing for your 4th edition example is showing 5th. 4th version shows the same artwork as that from The Dark. Try Fourth Edition instead and see what happens.

LOVE LOVE LOVE that new storytelling frame. The feelz are alive! #gimmekiss

This is shaping out to be what Lorwyn wanted to be all along. I think this will pan out better than Lorwyn based on that alone.

Seb McKinnon's art reminds me a lot of the old abstract kind (Deliver Unto Evil) of Drew Tucker. Not clearly defined but makes the mind think. I am personally happy to see a diversity of art styles as per the older ways of Magic's original days.

If people are upset about the feminization of Magic, I remember reading something online stating that WOTC was hoping to increase its hold and attraction of female players. So that's pretty much a combination of progressivism and marketing.

I hope this means we get to see Diamond Faerie based on the art alone!

The name strikes me as very Welsh/Celtic in nature.

Having some creature type matters of tribal element also fits with one of the themes of modern horizons. I guess something like Cost reduction, +p/+t, and extra abilities based on the quantity of creatures types would be a start (with a limit)
A god that gains +p/+t for each creature type among creatures you control but with a cap (of say +7+7) could fit I guess.

See that makes sense and would be a cool way to go into the god development string even further. Like a goblin god will be as powerful as the goblins that worship it. Ok, maybe the odd human or non-goblin might but that's another story.

Tribal gods. It could be a thing...

I personally think a god's stats and abilities should be only as powerful as the devotion of their followers. Because, in "real life," a god is only as potent as the number of people who believe in them.

So maybe a tie-in to devotion or # of creatures of a specific type and/or something else maybe? That'd be cool if we do go that route in the next (few) set(s).

I wouldn't be surprised if the next story arc is like an epilogue to the events that transpired in War. We have several fugitive planeswalkers on the run in a heated chase by some protagonists. It would make for an interesting post-war thriller before we move into the next chapter of the story.

It feels like a better segue than what they did with the Weatherlight story by its abrupt end at Apocalypse other than the X years later feeling we often see in story naration.

There's your traditional fantasy item found in most settings in this genre. Here's hoping we get a Magic Rope-type spell in the near future to go along with it Thumbs Up

It'll be a nice addition to my Play-From-Exile deck that uses Cadaverous Bloom along with Eternal Scourge, Torrent Elemental and Misthollow Griffin to generate large amounts of mana to draw into Well of Knowledge to locate key cards and replay them from exile.

I think a plane inspired by D&D is more likely. That way they have more creative freedom.

If Legends' legendary creatures were the manifestations of designers' D&D characters, then I think this has substance, and I don't mean in a thorny armour capacity.

TBH Shards of Alara had that basic fantasy feeling so hopefully, whatever happens, it is reminiscent of that with the adventurous nature of Zendikar I's design.

Four Healer's Hawk and this = Good, good good, good vibrations bowmp bowmp. (substitute Hawk with Ornithopter and suddenly it feels dirty).

I want it strictly for the art. Everything else is gravy.
