1. Start off by tapping Myr Turbine for a myr token, then tap the myr token + card]Blasting Station[/card] or Grinding Station to untab Myr Turbine.
2. Rinse and repeat for infinate Myr Token
3. Use whatever repeatable sac outlets that uses creatures or artifacts for the win.
Torpor orb and then no CA from birds, or just extract them.
I'm not a math genius and I don't claim to be, but it seems that if we run 4 extractions in the 75, with our discard spells we should be able to do that fairly quickly and ofter, even if we have to mana leak or disfigure a bird. Most of you will probably hate this idea, but so what. It works well enough for me that caw-blade is not my hardest deck to beat.
i find that 2 extraction is enough... running 4 you run into times where we don't draw any discards and got 1-2 extractions in hand.
I've read somewhere that he NPH devs thought "countermagic" as one of the most unfun mech in the game, so I think they basically made heavy permission build unplayable intentionally with cheap threats and terribad countermagics.
ironically they are trying to make mono-black work, which i actually find more unfun than the traditional UB control
i agree with tronist, having skirge eat a burn spell doesn't hurt us too much... its like turning that burn spell into 2 dmg and a waste of mana for your opponent, now play a tezz and dig more out with him and go on your happy way know that's 1 less burn spell to take down tezz
i noticed for the grixis build, Kor Firewalker will wreck you hard... all ur sweepers' dmg are prevented, and the only way to get rid of if is to either get up a 5/5, jace bounce... unless you are running ratchet bombs
so guys, know how the Mignon failed to name this deck? i got a pretty awesome idea for a name: Super Tezz Deck or short STD.
name both implies that it's using the new tezz (hence super tezz) and describes the explosiveness of the deck when the tezz or forgemaster combo gets down.
I'm going to start calling it this at my FNM. Hopefully someone can carry it to states or a PTQ :P. what do you guys think?
my thoughts: save pyro to kill their hawks then play our own...
edit: friend said arc trail may help protect our hawk in place of pyro... but i still like board-wiping better.. not to mention we'd be using our 2 mana for wiping not our hawk (not to mention Turn Aside proof)
anyone considered leonin arbiter as an answer for green sun zenith?
tha'ts turn 2 + 2 more mana to the green sun, and it kinda kills them cuz now htey have to pay each turn even if they manage to get a primeval out. (assuming you have ways to protect this lil cat)
i would stick with preordain and jace's ingenuity.
preordain is cheap and digs 3 cards deep.
Jace's Ingenuity is better than forsee because its an instant
i got a buddy coming over tonight, he runs UB so i can do some testing with both 2 or 3 ingenuity builds... I really like venser as a late game threat... his ult thought never really used scares the crap out of most people in my meta, so they over extend to remove him or tick his points down. And even then, i do run 2 titans and 2 tumbling mag, which works well with venser
hm... not exactly liking the new curve i've got now... it used to be a nice exponential curve for cmc vs # of cards... now i personally feel that my 5cmc slot is a bit cluttered.... maybe a few chalices to fix the mana?

yup, that sounds right
