Have you guys already had experiences with Council's Judgment? I bought a few because the mechanic appealed to me but haven't had the chance to try yet. I was considering what kind of decks to put them in. Probably they'll be best in slower and more inoffensive decks in which the danger of having your own permanent win the vote is smaller. And definitely not in a deck that has lots of stuff that it can't handle being exiled.
Yesterday at the shop, I tried playing Iroas, but it took about half a game to start missing Tajic and his curvy blade. Iroas's effect is neat, sure, but still it was only useful about twice, and he only became a creature once.
Of the other new cards, Godsend's only real advantage was increasing devotion. Other than that, I'd have rather had pretty much almost any other three-mana equipment, really.
Next time I go (in two weeks, because next week I'll be in Iceland), I'll try to do some testing and thinking on Kira. As it's presently, the deck is somewhere halfway between Kira and Azami and could go either way, so I may want to experiment with the latter as well, and then decide which way to go.
What is your favourite colour to use in decks?
My favorite color used to be blue but since I nowadays play almost exclusively Commander, green has clearly become my new #1. Even white is more playable in CMD than blue. At the same time, this format has cemented red's position as my least favorite color.
What archetype do you find yourself using pay often?
I'm a crappy aggro player, in every format, and I quite categorically despise combo, so that leaves me with control
Who is your favourite planeswalker? Why?
Venser. He's handsome and he blinks Now that I think about it, he may also be the only PW I have in a CMD deck...
My card hobby (and pretty much everything in my life) has recently suffered from a very intensive new relationship, but I've managed to slightly update my existing decks (including replacing Tajic with Iroas) and I'm hoping to make it to the shop in the coming week. The game will probably feel quite fresh after several weeks of mostly not even touching the cards.
I find that MTG players tend towards the metal end of the spectrum
Really? Well, maybe that's something of a general geek characteristic. Myself, I listen to little else than eurobeat (Italian dance music produced exclusively for the Japanese market), Korean pop, and Eurovision Song Contest entries (including preselections)
Two of the best cards on the list. Restrictionless, instant removal? Yes please.
Single-target removal that doesn't tuck or exile isn't that hot in a long game with many players most of whom can get their stuff back sooner or later. Which is what most CMD games are about, in my experience at least.
I'll support Sakashima's Student. Clone effects are some of the most entertaining parts of this format and the student is one of the best.
Hahaha. Those last few messages do read like a comic

Haha. Figures
Now I'm wondering who that might be. I can, unfortunately, think of several people there who might say that
There's Chaos Warp, but mostly true.
Depends on the deck. In mono-blue, I might run a larger set of counters, but I have multicolored decks with only Hinder and Spell Crumple.

There's a word for that.
My present problem is that I have too many decks that I like. Each week, I choose four to take with me, and the choice is always difficult.
