Surgical Extraction is, I cannot stress this enough, borderline broken. You can eliminate Stoneforge Mystic on the FIRST TURN OF THE GAME.
Wurmcoil isn't great when your most important enemy is Condemn. I'm not sure about Rager, tell me how he works out. But really, Lashwrithe is crucial.
25 lands is a tad high, though no I have no complaints about the count. Consider Inkmoth Nexus. Lifegain is a major part of the meta, and you can be easily pushed out of the "doable" range when Elspeth hits the table, or Batterskull goes live.
1 of tumble Magnet? Uhhh...
Consider some Geth's Verdicts somewhere. I'd use those in place of Dismember. Also, Go For the Throat is STRICTLY better than Doom Blade. Batterskull is all I need to say there. Possibly reverse your counts?
How does Mind Rot work out? Is your 3 drop slot crowded with that, Mimic Vat, Rager, Tumble Magnet, and (usually) BSZ?
Maaaan, I remember when I was good at Magic. Then I got bored of being broke. One of these days I'll actually get into pauper.
Eminem sort of released a new song today, I guess. Kind of forgettable, not that big imo. If I somehow get bored of WMWTSO, I'll check out "Born Sinner"

You both have bright avatars so you're the same person to me
Really? nothing about "Guilt Trip" bothered you? Or the fact that there were about four lines delivered in 3 minutes of "Send it Up?"
To each their own.
I went for a run
And I felt the wind blast
The morning dew; tumultuously
Along the highways between
Skyscraper grass blades
I did not sleep-
But i ran the road from Rome
To the Athens of the south-
And somewhere along the way
I steeled my resolve
And with new zeal raised pace
And my guilt gave up the chase,
So i built a kingdom in the space
Between the lacy parting clouds,
And delighted in the riot of
The birds singing against the sun.
I did not sleep-
But the greenery gave me peace
Against the routine i had undone
I haven't listened to as much Q as I'd like, I'm really looking forward to Oxymoron though. Not a fan of Khalifa much at all though.
I wrote a lot of pretentious bull****, then erased it. Here's the Tl;Dr:
I really enjoy Yeezus, it's a marvelous, singular statement, where Kanye brings together a lot of great artists (oh and Chief Keef and Kid Cudi, they get to hang out too) to make a good album. I wish he would've loosened up and let his personality shine through in more ways than just his impossible arrogance. I also wish there was more rapping. But ****, Daft Punk production, Justin Vernon features, what more could I ask for? (Other than three songs that belong on 808s and Heartbreaks). I also really wish there were one, iconic song for the album, something to anchor it. Dropout had a fistful of em, Late Registration had Gold Digger and Diamonds from Sierra Leone, Graduation had Stronger and Good Morning (both of which 90% of everybody who doesn't suck knows by heart), MDTBF had Power and Runaway.
Yeezus, on the other hand, is best experienced as an album. It's a great album made up of slightly less great songs, which kinda disappoints me, even if I love the album as much as anything I've heard this year. In the hierarchy of Kanye:
808s<Late Registration<College Dropout<Yeezus<Graduation<MDTBF
"Watching Movies," is a damn good album and proves that Mac Miller is still getting better. It's also long, maybe longer than it should have been- but ****, who am I to complain about more music? It's Miller's best album by a mile, it's got a solid identity without sacrificing variety, and it's definitely representative of Mac as an artist.
I nitpicked the **** out of Yeezus because it's Kanye, and he has to be held to a higher standard. When you include the line: "I said 'what up jesus,' he said 'what up Yeezus," name your album Yeezus, and list God as one of your features (it's Justin Vernon saying: I am a god, but shhhh, that's a secret), you have to expect a higher standard to be applied.
Both are damn good albums that will more than keep me perfectly happy until Run the Jewels, and probably a long time after that.
oh and I live next to this guy I guess. I hadn't realized how popular he is. Dude's pretty cool I guess. My experience with him consists of seeing him playing with his kids in his yard while I'm working out, or he's grilling, or he's playing pool (on a non-level floor), and it's always fun when he grumbles about how he used to tour with Macklemore.
Yeezus and Watching Movies With the Sound Off leaked! I mean, so did the new J. Cole but who even gives a ****.
THEY ANNOUNCE THIS
LIKE, ON THE ****ING DAY IT WAS SUPPOSED TO COME OUT
I spent all day yesterday looking for Summer Knights. The 18th can't come fast enough.
I recall there was one time, well before I started hanging around here, but I saw it in the archive, when nobody won because there were so many issues with the voting being messed up that, after penalties and disqualifications, there were zero valid votes for any participant. I remember seeing that they attempted to re-do the poll later, but I'm not sure if they succeeded that time.
Mostly it's just weird how slow this poll is moving. Usually by the 48 hour mark (it's at the 43 as of this post), the majority of voting and discussion has occurred.
That's an industrial thing. The United States is still the leading manufacturer of advanced goods, especially computer components. So it actually does cost more for retailers to get the consoles outside of the united states.
It does suck though. I agree with Izuki, you can probably get away with waiting a few months. There'll be a trickle of games for Ps3/360 for a while, and you usually see the consoles drop in price fairly quick.
with "old" you're referring to Danny Brown's new album, right? I remember reading somewhere that was the name of it, another of many releases that mean this summer is gonna kick ass
