Opponent plays Ponder looks at the cards puts them in order, after some time without declaring nothing verbally he picks up again the cards to change their order.
My question is: after he put down the cards the first time, whe he picks them up again does he break any rules?
Yesterday i went to a PPTQ with 50+ People, i didn't fare well but i got some more experience.
Also i discovered that while i need more practice, this deck is strong.
Match up
Grixis Delver Vs Uwr Midrange 2-1
I won the first game with a flipped Delver of secrets(Turn 1) and a t3 Gurmag Angler and a hand full of counter and removal
The second game he saw a lot more removal than me
Third game was very grindy, but i won thanks to an elemental token and a Snapcaster Bolt combo
Grixis Delver Vs Merfolk 1-1
First gamne was lost because while i had the removal for kira, i din't see the lands for it
Second game was won thanks To Death's shadow, and some knowledge of the rules***
Third game he used a dispel on my counter for the +5+5 power up
Grixis Delver 2 Vs No show
easyest match Ever
Considerations:
Sleep more than 4 Hours the day before
Bring food
Pay attention to the Board State
People are nicer than you expect after a match
*** I called for a judge 2 times
1) Because i split Electrolyze damage first on my opponent Spellskite then on his Silvergill adept, while my opponent believed me i asked for a judge to come for clarity's sake
2) I called a judge because i Wanted to counter with remand a Master of the pearl trident cast with mana from cavern of souls. The assistant judge(judge in training i don't know) ruled that no i couldn't draw, i appealed to the HJ which said that i could.
**** The Opponent was a 12/13 year old, he always forgot to declare some triggers etc, i didn't call a judge because i wouldn't like to be seen as a jerk.
I lost game one due to a misplay on my poart, game 2 i countered burned evyrthing, round 3 he draw a godly hand
Grixis Delver 2 - Collected company 0
Game One was a stalemate Because i had a Gurmag angler he had an archangel of thune but then i draw terminate for the win, Game 2 he didn't saw anything and got stuck on one land.
First game Was very close, all i needed to win was a lightning bolt or a Snapcaster mage, i didn't see anyone of them and he comboed off
Second round is also Close i would've won if we didn't extend into turns.
Grixis Delver Vs Affinity 0-2
Games were very close, but sadly i didn't see a signle hate card.
Grixis Delver Vs Infect 0-2
I lost...Again, games were very close but i made several misplays that cost me my game(ex: playing a spell to early)
Grixis Delver Vs Bye
Oddly i won this game, then i had to drop because it was too late
Despite losing ( 3rd tournamet for me with the deck), i still like the deck and learned from my misplays
Hello to everyone, i'm going to post my grixis delver list.
Some card numbers might seem odd if comporaed to other lists, i made this list with the cards i have at hand.
I didn't post the SB because i haven't made one yet:p, the thing is tha my LGS can be convoluted one day all aggro one day all control.
These are few of the decks i can count on being there 100%.
Tonight we had a small modern tournament (8 players) 1st prize From the vault annihilation + promos 2/3/4 Promos + boosters
Round 1 Merfolk vs U-tron (2-0)
Game 1: i start with vial then cursecatcher, Lord, lord, Rejery and i win with an overwhelming swarm.
Game 2: Opponents repeal my vial a few times, but i manage to stick it. The i start overwhelming him with Merfolks
Round 2: Merfolk vs Merfolk (2-1)
Game 1: we mirror each other the whole game, but thanks to vial i'm able to stick one merfolk . This means that i'm able to kill him since i had 13 power against 12 life
Game 2: i lost this game thanks to a mistake i made, i didn't cast a removal when i should've
Game 3: Same as game 1
Round 3: Merfolk vs Titan Bloom/ Amulet combo(1-1)
Even if i didn't like it i draw so i could go in top 4.
Top 4: i got out the very firsat round
Merfolk vs Infect Luck (1-2)
Game 1: I start the game with vial, which give me and edge... also he didn't see any infect( the one he saw was dismembered)
Game 2: his luck begins to shine trough he saw everything he needs to close on turn 3
Game 3: He draws whatever he nbeeds, i draw 10 lands out of the 20 i play, also because i wanted to see if i could win isacrificed some merfolk to plrolong a the game(It was a mistake)
It wasn't bad for someone who didn't play for some months, also i was able to trade the promos for the cards i needed to finish the deck.
Player A: he has liliana heretical healer and bloodsoaked champion
, vampiric rites
1)declares combat phase and attacks withliliana heretical healer and bloodsoaked champion
2)the opponet blocks liliana heretical healer with deathmist raptor
3) Player A: before damage is dealt, activates vampiric rites and bloodsoaked champion is sacrificed.
Does liliana heretical healer gets removed from combat and come back without damage as a planeswalker?

My question is: after he put down the cards the first time, whe he picks them up again does he break any rules?

First game got tense, but he saw more than enough removal
Second game went to turns, and instead of attacking Liliana of the veil at 2 loyalty i attacked the player( this was the buggest mistake i made)
