Got it. The wording on the card made me think that you have to obey the opponent's timing restrictions on when you can play a sorcery and such. It makes more sense now. Thanks a lot!

EDIT: A follow up question with the information I just learned. Can I force my opponent to tap extra lands to pay for the spell or once they have enough mana for the spell do they no longer have to tap lands? Can I make them tap lands and choose not to play a spell?

    Word of Command

This card is a little confusing to me. If I play this at the end of my opponent's main phase when I can legally play it and I look at my opponent's hand which has an instant, creature, land, sorcery, planeswalker, and an artifact. What am I allowed to make them play? For the sake of it lets say the opponent has not played anything yet on his turn.

My vote is for Phenax, personally. He's the trickster sort, and the God of thieves and gambling. Erebos is associated with gold, so there's that.

My vote would have gone to Athreos in the book it says he loves gold and has a stockpile of it from souls who give him one gold piece for transport to the afterlife.

Jenrik do you know which character in greek that he is based off of?

Hello, hoping for a little help here. I'm running D&D in a magic setting right now the planeswalkers are on Theros. I was looking at King Macar, the Gold-Cursed. Does anybody have any information on this guy at all or is his story pretty much wide open? I can take a guess on which god gave him his course but I can't find anything about him. If it is pretty much wide open thats fine I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I feel bad for Reigns, the guy has all the tools needed to succeed but when WWE puts it all in on him the crowd pulls a 180 and rejects him because they want to pick who gets cheered and who gets boos. I think with a much slower push than he had the guy would have been a top player but now I don't think he will ever get past the level he is at. I hope I'm wrong because there is no reason that all 3 members of the Shield can't succeed on there own.

I remember reading around the time of Innistrad when it was revealed Sorin created Avacyn that he gave up a large price in order to do it. Was it ever revealed what that large price was? Did that just end up being that vampires on innistrad hate him now?

For now, Sarkhan plans to stay on Tarkir. He will live with the dragons and follow the teachings of the Temur, the clan he once longed to rule.Though he will never be a khan of a clan, he embraces the Tarkir of the dragonlords, the Tarkir he helped to create. In his mind, Sarkhan is khan of all.

They wasted a good opportunity with bringing Sarkhan back without any major shifts. They should have made him the de-facto ruler of the plane like his name implies and like Jace in Ravnica, or put him out of commision for a while like Eslpeth on Theros (perhaps lost in time). They could have done so much more with him. The fact he never even gets to meet Ugin makes it all the worse.

In the video preview for the set its Sarkhan talking to Ugin the whole time. I'm sure that they will have an article about a conversation between the two. Ugin said that he was going to leave when he is able. He either has some unfinished business or my guess would be he needs to rest a little more before he can planeswalk.

I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon for what I have read about what others think. That Nahiri and Avacyn are somehow very connected, maybe even the same being. It makes a whole lot of sense to me that an angel can make really good use out of a chunk of the moon and make it into a crazy demon prison if it knows lots of lithomancy things.
