I have an almost complete foil set of M14 from a GP Detroit Side Event. It is missing all of the white commons and the first three blue commons, and the event organizers did not reply back to me after I contacted them about the issue. Is it worth it to buy the remaining missing foils and sell the set as a whole, or should I just sell the big cards? Alternatively, would it be better to complete the set and hold onto it?
Also, thoughts on selling Chandra, Pyromaster (Foil)? I bought several before the price spike, but they are now buylisted lower than what I paid for them. Should I bite the bullet, or hold out for Modern season?

anyone have thoughts on my trade up above? I haven't decided yet. i'm the one with the badlands
I would take Pile B. Karn Liberated is hot on the block and actually has a pretty low chance of being reprinted for quite some time. You are up on value and Karn is a very hot card right now.
Pile B
1x Birds of Paradise
2x Birthing Pod
2x Thalia, Guardian of Thraben (1x foil)
1x Steam Vents
I would take Pile B here, Geist is good but despite being Eternal-playable it will still suffer due to rotating out of Standard whereas the cards in Pile B are all pretty safe bets for Modern. Also, Foil Thalia is the real deal.
Pile A:
Boros Reckoner
Thalia
Pile B:
2x Deathrite Shaman
Pile B no question.
Pile A:
Misty Rainforest
FOIL Talrand
Pile B:
Thundermaw Hellkite
Pile A, I wouldn't even consider Misty for Thundermaw straight up.
You will get mixed responses here too, but if you want my own personal opinion your play was absolutely scummy, an incredibly poor show of sportsmanship, and is arguably more than borderline cheating because you intentionally attempted to manipulate the game state by "revealing" your Aetherize. IMO there isn't really much else to say, you cant even paint it in a light that makes you sound not awful.
At GP Indianapolis I was browsing through a box of bulk at the Troll and Toad stand and came across a FBB Korean Control Magic. Does anybody know what this would be worth? A lot of people I've traded with have commented on it but nobody seems to be able to put a definitive price point on it.
Yeah, I don't there's any way to beat the lock in the OP plus Teferi/Knowledge Pool. On a side note, The Abyss doesn't stop either of my kills through Erayo's Essence, as you can just play flash creatures on your opponent's turn to get around it.
I'm kind of curious to see what the smallest number of cards necessary for a hard lock is. Can anyone beat
Iona, Shield of Emeria
Painter's Servant
Platinum Angel
Stabilizer
2 Privileged Position
for a total of 6 cards in play?
Emeria the Sky Ruin + 7 Plains, upkeep return many answers ranging from Kederekt Leviathan to Novablast Wurm.
Also, there are two PW in RtR. One is Jace.
In Gatecrash, the tagline is "Fight for your guild" and Gideon is confirmed to be one of the two PW in that set. All hints and the picture of him scream he will be Boros.
Would love to see Wasteland, I personally see Kor Haven getting the nod over Maze of Ith but I'd be ecstatic if Maze made the cut. They're going to work hard to balance this set so there isn't too much money inside.
P1P1 Pacifism > Honor of the Pure (Honor of the Pure kind of worked out though)
P1P6 Stave Off > Auramancer. Stave Off is really good and picking up Auramancer so early isn't very solid, to be honest. Would have taken Plummet over Auramancer as well.
P1P11 Pride Guardian > Rites of Flourishing. Pride Guardian is quite fine in the board vs. the aggro deck and raredrafting is irrelevant when the rare is worth maybe a cent.
P2P1 I could have seen taking Pacifism here very easily. Garruk's Horde is not the most exciting card.
P2P4 Alabaster Mage > Thran Golem. Thran Golem is pretty bad, auras are a pretty good way to get 2 for 1'd and Thran Golem is TERRIBLE without an Aura. The card is a trap, albeit being cool.
P3P1 Day of Judgment is awesome but this was not necessarily a slam. Your deck was looking very aggressive at this point and DoJ is kind of awkward in this kind of deck.
P3P2 Jade Mage > Spirit Mantle. Jade Mage is ridiculous and is much more powerful than Spirit Mantle. Spirit Mantle makes your bad card slightly better.
P3P3 Griffin Rider is pretty much only playable if you have 3-4 Griffins at least. However, it's good in this deck.
Overall the deck could have been better and there were some questionable picks, but it ended up working out so I don't think one can complain. Honor of the Pure ending up being QUITE good in this deck, and it's kind of weird that we didn't see any Guardian's Pledge/Sacred Wolf. This deck would have loved either of those cards. If I took Honor of the Pure P1P1 I would have probably forced White harder during this draft.
Reposting my question, any input would be great.

Yup, totally fine.
I enjoy hoarding fetches so I wouldn't personally make this trade, but this trade seems fine valuewise.

It's just FNM dude.
Take Pile B and run.
and it isn't really close IMO. Every other card mentioned in this thread can have some loose purpose in a deck but this one does not serve one.

Does anybody have a screenshot of this picture?
Edit: Nath'd.

Edit: Eep, my bad. Was wondering about that.
