With amass in the set, a pacifism effect on an army would make the entire mechanic useless, there may be an oblivion ring style removal in white/blue, but it would be a major design flaw for limited to put a pacifism effect in.
I have a large collection that's been gathering dust in my closet (sealed product, some high value cards, a few very high value cards). I don't want to make the time to part out and sell the collection card by card, would it make sense to try and sell it at GPNJ? If so, how would I go about doing it?
Here is a challenge I thought of: design cards that can only exist on Magic Online.
Here's an example:
Afterimage Assault3WU
Enchantment
Whenever a non-token creature you control attacks, create 2 identical copies of the attacking creature. Prevent all damage that would be dealt by any copies of an attacking creature you control, and any activated or triggered abilities from these creatures do not occur. Exile these copies at the end of combat or if they would leave the battlefield.
The idea of the card is that opponents won't know which creature is the original, which will make blocking a nightmare. This card wouldn't work in paper magic because the opponent would know which one was the original, and ignore the copies, but in a digital game the cards could look identical.
There is a ton of design space out there for digital only cards, what else can we come up with?
I have a fairly high value collection (a completed 720 card cube with all the high value cards like tarmogoyf and ~20 expeditions), a complete set of collector's edition, and a decent amount of sealed product (8 FTV 20, 4 KTK complete sets), and I'm looking for the best way to sell off my collection. My interest in magic has been waning and I don't have time to play it anymore, so I'm looking to unload my collection for a good amount of money. I'm going to GP DC with some friends, but that's the last major event I'm going to attend.
I'm not looking to make this a drawn out process; I don't want to go to the post office 100 times. Would I get the best return by selling my collection at GP DC, selling to a local store, selling to an online buylist, or is there another better option?
Woodland Wanderer trades the drain 3 ability of Siege Rhino for vigilance and the ability to be a 6/6. I think this card could either be an answer or a replacement to everyone's favorite Rhino.
I won a GPT trial to Cincinnati earlier today, which gave me a double bye to GP Cincinnati. I don't plan on going to it, but I have a friend who does. Would I be allowed to transfer the byes over to him?
What do you think the long term value of a sealed FTV 20 is going to be? It looks like it's selling for 120-130 right now, will it go up or down from there?
Dark Prophecy: It's a dollar rare that gets you 60% of the way to devotion (75% if you include the god card in the devotion ability itself). Also, the card is powerful, and it's an enchantment.

I'm not in a hurry to sell my collection, my main limiting factor is effort. I don't want to turn selling this collection into a part-time job!
I guess of the choose 2 I would want "most money, least effort" without worrying about time. Is there a better way to make that happen?
