seems like many LGS only received a case. While Rudy with alpha inv can get 700 cases ! And doesn't even keep his shop open on normal schedule and it's used for warehouse purposes!
Gridlock is cool and all (and since ixlan dinos/vehicles are around)
You can put Monarchy cards in with Grimlock and he becomes KING GRIMLOCK! that's flavorful as well to his lore.
Should have been Optimus and I'll be sad if Unset doesn't have the Commander convoy / Optimus Prime flip card!

KARN - 6 years. God maybe longer! I have to think... Anyway artifacts! Love what Karn does even though it's not remotely top tier.
I've taken apart at least 30 decks over the years.
Others I see myself keeping forever are:
-Prosh: it wins a lot and in many angles. I even took food chain out it still rekts.
-Maelstrom wanderer: goodstuff random cascade is just so fun! Also I play GAME OF CHAOS and someone always plays to the death with me! So fun
-marchesa: unique grixis aggro control. I hate casting cards like obliterate!... Usually!, but if I have 5-6 creatures! I'm gonna win usually.
-freyalise. Scratches my mono green urges and a very nice commander that's easy to protect ... As she's a walker.
-daretti: goblin welder is my fav card. Again a casual deck
-Nekusar!: unique way of winning or attempting to win. Fun... Casual deck for me. Also one of my fav arts!
-Gissa : zombies! Mono black fun! I love playing korlash! Or better sac phyrexian soulgorger or hunted horror for lots of tokens.
Something to be said for having things work appropriate way. Marchesa, creatures then obliterate! Or Nekusar with cards that fit nicely! Phyrexian tyranny! And Gissa with dreadnought type creatures!
I wouldn't just play geddon or jhops as an answer to ramp because you're jeskai. Yes you have access to awesome land destruction, but you have to have credible threat on board before you awkwardly make yourself that "jerk" that obliterates because they have 8 mana and nothing to do while behind.
Instead, use marchesa ... Play low curve... Leave out all the shenanigans because everyone is completely kidding themselves to think any non green deck has a chance when not ramping. Yes certain decks can deliver painful blows to ramp drop bombs strategy, but rarely can they keep up when those bombs are tooth and nail, rite replication list goes on and on with ramp being extremely powerful. Shenanigans for marchesa would be thinking tapping out to play flayed of hate bound is actually gonna have much impact.
Leave it out and stick with 2-3 cc creatures as a whole.
Then get to 6 or 8 mana and jhops or obliterate for the TRUE W!
Also most u/w good stuff arbiter decks laugh at ramp. They're are some really grief tax to control bombs.
Cyclonic rift is almost auto win in our play group. Rift swing hard... Your basically time walking x turns to recover.
That's how I see nonRamp... How much impact am I making to my next board state. I always feel non green strats are time walking themselves into plays to just keep up with GREENx (usually green/blue is nasty)

Mono red Daretti welder .. uses ramp as does mono blue memnarch/padeem
Would be difficult not to use rocks in mono color.
Sydri/Karn rocks. But sydri. Can be another esper tutor mana rockless deck like Breya if u so chose.
Mairsil ... can also work without rocks. You get to use your artifacts like mindslaver (on mairsil) while null rod is out!
