Against decks packing heavy removal, I usually side out honors for more removal of my own and a bonehoard
Lay out threats one by one and bait it out until you think it's safe to play it.
I'm pretty new to FNMs and I'm planning to take this to my first T2 FNM sometime soon, though I been playing WWQuest casually, only playing against UR Pyro and RUG Titan.
I passed on Aether Adept because of the UU mana cost, and Trinket Mage almost does the same thing. Unified Will, I figured, would keep Quest from getting bounced, and keeps pesky sweeps and beat sticks away.
I really really like Sword of Feast and Famine; it opens lands for UWill.
This is my first deck post and I guess I'm just looking for a bit of a review or card suggestions.
It's pretty dry cut; Just Stall and Ramp (slowly) into Iona or Beats via Akroma, Yosei, BSA or some other weenie.
I haven't brought this to an event yet;
Still waiting around for cards.
The only T2 deck I've played against is RB PyroAscension; and I've done pretty well.
To explain some of my choices:
I figure; the Whispersilk Cloak goes maindeck because it's got a run on removal heavy decks and provides evasion.
The Exoskeleton is there just to give me another win con; however unlikely; it is still there. An equipped Duelist gives you a 3/3 doublestrike infect, and 6 poison counters look like pressure to me. Helpful in a creature or creature-less deck.
I chose Emerge over BtE because of rebound. I really only need to protect my equipped creature as long as I don't over extend, and in certain situations I am guaranteed a strike next turn, with Argentum/Exoskeleton or SoBaM.
3 Mystics have been a good number for me; More than 1 in an opening hand is usually a sad face for me, but I could be wrong.
Can I have an evaluation?
Question though; Am I correct in assuming SoBaM will still only trigger once upon damaging an opponent?

It's helped me out quite a bit.
I think this is something that we could benefit from.

Looking for some advice and criticisms!
I just gotta reconfigure the slottage~
Yeah, Iona isn't so casual but... My playgroup favors Zur, Sygg and Oona;
I figure I might as well try for my favorite color, ya?
Not sure I like Magus of the Disk... I'm thinking that'll be an open slot for something.
I'm already running Angelic Arbiter and Spirit of the Hearth
I DO like the blink idea.. I'll phase Flickerwisp in for... Rule Of Law / Ethersworn Canonist?
My opponent has a Quest with 4 counters in play, and casts his Vengevine.
I respond with a Mana leak to his Vengevine.
Does he still get a counter on Quest?
Thanks <3

Then again, that tiny bit of mana accel. is insignificant to the aim of the deck...
