I'm trying to build some fun Decks for casual play. I'm wondering about Ophiomancer like cards. But I had to find out, that such easy cards at first glance can become verry comlex
Sometimes I'm feeling like a beginner again *rolleyes*
What happens for example in 1 VS 3, will he work out for the owner like this:
He triggers three times as the upkeep of the three buddies starts simultaneously?
Is there "enough time" to sac. two of the generated snakes between the "checks"? Like sacrifice the first two to any sac.-outlet and keeping the third?

I couldnt find a site, where Arch Enamy gets more attention. It would be nice to discuss more aspects of this format somewehere...
From my point of view it's a huge difference, talking about foil or non-foil pieces.
As I'd expect, non-foil will be pretty cheap. Because we all will probably get a lot of them: Boosters/FatPack/HolidayGiftBoxs maybe. So I'd assume let's talk about foil copies only.
Foils will be "normal"-expensive, depending on the illustration/artist etc. Ugly stays ugly...
I believe it doesn't affect box values that big. It's a lottery as it is with all foils.
Unglued foils will always be in demand. They will continue rising up slowly or just stay at the actual value even longer. No decrease in sight I'd say.
The debate about the possiblity of enemy-fetches in the second block of new-ZEN is much more exciting I guess
I’ve been getting these two questions about Battle for Zendikar quite a bit, so I think it’s time I finally answered them.
First, yes, Battle for Zendikar will be the return of full-art lands. I’ve seen them and you’re all in for a real treat.
Second, Battle for Zendikar does have a cool rare cycle of dual lands, but they’re brand new designs and not the Zendikar fetch lands.
Do I have a language problem? I see him confirming "NO enemy-fetches in first block of New-Zendikar". But he did not deny anything about the second one.
So from my point of view the chance is still there that they could be reprinted soon.
Arcbound Ravager is a bubble as well. A spike happens fast like you can see it in many different graphics. All the way back down (where it belongs) will need weeks/months... I understand that a lot of people are pissed because the targets we're exploding "over night" before they could get the hands on it. We could pray patience, but if you've got none you've to pay the impatience with a lot of real money.
Rei, just a quick request: can you fix Hordeling Outburst in your summary? You have it listed as Hordeline Outburest and makes hover views of the cards difficult.
What about a "Lotus"-like enchantment? We've had Artifacts, Land and a landfall Creature. From my point of view it's time for a enchantment/aura wich comes close to Paradise Mantle
This is artificial, Commander only. A card that is frowned upon in many Commander circles because it allows lots of infinite combos, and those are deemed unfun for most. Never buy this card at that price. It will go back down...
Scarecrone, on the other hand, is a fun, swiss-knife of a card. On the rise as well.
Agree here, for almost 20 bucks it was ok for foil ones. But now the price increase is to big for me. I'd never buy it.
Unfortunately there's the problem at the border. I'm not able to buy online outside of switzerland and especially outside of the EU.
Taxes and other fee's eat up all the money I could save. Guess it's my fault in the explanation. I'd buy every/all displays in switzerland for less then 80Euros. That's about 98.- CHF.
And regular prices are 150.- CHF. Hope you see where I come from.
I hope I didn't throw one of these away on accident

Back on topic. I believe it's a strange Set to deal with all the different circumstances we've got.
I'd buy every box below 80 Euros. Just to have enough fun-draft-fodder for the next years. This Set is always great to draft.
