Good point. Maybe some one droppers to force a little spell movement. Perhaps Enclave Cryptologist to help with drawing and also Reef Shaman to really force them to do something.
Was doing some normal random card searching looking for someway to use my Promise of Power, and ran across this beauty of a card. I fell in love too quicly with the art. For some reason I could see this woman having a dark side within her. So I decided to go with it. And as i contuined I created a very corrupted Rayne focusing on bring out large combos to summon either a powerful Demon or to weither away my opponet with Corrupt and Suffer the past.
Have to say I am really liking your Crackleburr. With that in play it could really cause people to hate you. I noticed though that there is a power it has that you are not using and yet it is a blue control deck I would try and use the burn too. So if you just wanted to keep it with blue mana you could use Crag Puca for attacking or defence, and check out Dominus of Fealty since it is a blue deck I could not but use a control abilitly just because I love it when you take away there prized cards and use it against them.
But if you wanted to move alittle not much but a little to red try Gelectrode to make the opponets heath fall even more or to keep yourself and other prize fighters safe put in a couple of Goblin Flectomancers

Yeah I agree with IdiotPilot and PlayRadioPlay. It does seem to be a great way to keep your key cards in the matchup. Infact I might just invest in a few myself.
Nice I have one at home. I threw in Mycosynth Golem so that I could play cards like Darksteel Colossus , Memnarch, and Bosh, Iron Golem. Bosh is prefect to me for this deck because you do the damage and beef up your artifacts. so win win. And you will be surprised how fast you will be putting down creatures after Mycosynth comes into play. Oh and one thing you can try with Memnarch is Mycosynth LatticeI have too much fun with that one.

Prototype Portal is awesome for me because it allows great combos and a buffer for destroy creatures and the one thing I hate the most, Infect. Think about having several Myr Battlespheres, or maybe you can have a Myrsmith in play and you imprint Origin Spellbomb Which will allow you to put two myr tokens into play and you draw a card. With a Tempered Steel or two in play you will have no trouble. Once I had a Steel Hellkite in play with Palladium Myr imprinted talk about power. And the one thing that I try to do is imprint Perilous Myr to fight off infect creatures.
Need Shield Sphere... Yes. Also if you plan on having so many blockers, Path to Exile, and Oblivion Ring you should consider having Luminarch Ascension to overwelm your opponet. With a flood of angels.
Steel Hellkite. I run it in my U/W Myr Enlightened deck. Would have to say that it is key to pull off the best move in the Scars Of Mirrodin. 2 Myr Galvanizer, Palladium Myr, Steel Hellkite, and a Venser, the Sojourner = Something massive. Check it out.
Thought that I would go crazy with rituals and make a completely fast Black deck. To grab a Sol Ring, Swamp, Dark Ritual, and an Abyssal Persecutor in the first turn will make you say "Welcome to the Abyss." Then spend the next 4 turns beating your opponet until you get an Unmake, Diabolic Edict, or Gatekeeper of Malakir to send Abyssal Persecutor back to the abyss with your opponet.
