If you activate it, then untap it with any random effect, then tap it again and use that REdREd on the same spell, or different spells, would it copy it twice or copy both spells?
So I really like storm, but cannot afford the cards for the popular version being run. So I looked at an old Modern version and added some things here and there. I really like how this works and can have a turn 1 kill on a really good hand and turn 2-4 on a decent hand. This is the list:
Sideboard is under development. Pyromancer Ascension was recently added and has made win rate more consistant but is not required. I do realize this is kinda glass cannony, so that is why there are main board Duress. The deck makes suffiecent enough mana so I have enough to cast Duress multiple times in a turn.
I know of the Sac Lands Tendrils one but my testing of that version does go off more easier on turn 3 but does not leave much spare mana to work around counters.
Say I am at 10 life, my opponent has a 2/2, a 3/3 and a 5/5. I have a Spirit Link or Vampiric Link on each of them. I know that I gain the life and that if lethal is dealt to me I die before the trigger, but is that the same case with multiple triggers/creatures? I figure that if it has first strike it would trigger first but would all the creatures deal there damage, then the life gain triggers, or does each creature trigger in some order, thus surviving the combat?
So this is an idea for a casual legacy deck. I don't think it would fair well against the proven decks but I think it would do decent. Point is to get Solitary Confinement out and then draw a lot of cards and make a bunch of angels. I am more than open to suggestions. Trying to keep this extreme budget so no cards over like 10 dollars each.
If we were to run a playset of Mana Confluence instead of basics in theory we could run SB spells that are any color. Would it be viable to run SB tech that is other colors you think? Would it help if we ran like 1 or 2 pains/shocks that are the off colors? I have seen other decks run 1 or 2 off lands just for this reason.
I am not going to think about rotation until we know what the next set will have in it. There is no point to speculate or plan that far ahead not having any idea whatsoever what the new set will have. It have have a good replacement, or something that wreaks our deck. Only time will tell.
I am giving Ral Zarek a shot to see how he is...so far not so bad but is a bit much for the curve.
Fair enough, And I don't think I am going to invest in the SB just yet. Going to wait to see what wins the first couple Star City Weekend Tourneys to see what the meta is. My LGS seems to worship what wins there.
Thinking about swaping the 4 Lightning Strikes for a 19th land and 2 Bronze Sable and put in my 4th shrapnel blast back. Yeah they are vannila but they have high interaction with rest of deck might be worth it.
Keranos could be good SB tech against non white decks (decks that don't run exile effects) or games that go late. Besides we can always turn 3 him with servant.
Not really condsidering it, but I will throw it out there. With Servant we have decent acceleration, what about a WR version?
Yeah I know it is risky but I have playtested it a while and solitared it about 40 times today and I have been mana screwed only about 3 times but have been flooded about 10.
