The End of an Era

Has anyone decided if which of the channel lands from Neon Dynasty they will use? they seem to be better replacements then the odyssey lands Cephalid Coliseum and Barbarian Ring. I think Boseiju, Who Endures will be main boardable and even Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance can be game ending material. Otawara, Soaring City seems like it could be a good anti-reanimator, might be a little costly though which is the concern I have with it. I know we don't generally run legendary creatures which would cause the discount, but since we can fish them out and recur them I think they are very valuable.

Im running an old version of this deck, haven't updated in years but looking to add some upgrades from Neon Dynasty at least.

deck looks fun for kitchen table, I would suggest you use Crop Rotation and Gamble as these cards help you get the cards you want from your deck and recur the lands in the graveyard. Avarice Totem is a cute card but it really only benefits by you being able to activate it twice in the same turn or sacrificing it in response to its trigger. I have been using Grove of the Burnwillows and Punishing Fire for creature and player removal. Pendrell Mists seems to expensive to use, since you'll be dead against an aggro deck anyways, maybe use settle the wreckage instead.

Subterranean Tremors is side board tech that hoses affinity. only way around sanctum prelate is Barbarian Ring or Crop rotation tabernacle and hope he can't pay.

Hey guys! just saw this thread and started prowling through it, I play Legacy Artifacts with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas and well just generally love artifacts. I assembled the basic UB deck on the main page with chalice of the void and enjoyed the play style it offers. After reading the last few pages and seeing the splash to White, which looks really nice mainly for the consistency. I was wondering what you guys think of Scourglass? I understand it is slow, turn 6 you can use it, but it is a re-curable Damnation/engineered explosives.
Also what do you guys think of Crucible of worlds to protect our Academy Ruins and make Ghost Quarter locks viable?

Thanks for your guys hard work on this page, lots of information

your list seems intereating...keep the brewing up. One card i was looking at that could be a contender for chalice of the void is Trinisphere, seems like in your list it could perform better.

i know its been awhile, but have you still been making improvements to the horde? is jhoira of the ghitu still a viable doctor?, is there anyone else that can be substituted out so we can have variance in the doctors we have to protect? kinda like old school vanguard, but for the "doctor"

I am definitely excited to see what you can brew with Hangarback Walker, seems like an awesome flex card now days, might be Better than Thopter Foundry or if anything can act as a 5-8 TF if you need that many.

Make him discard the card you cant answer, which in your case would be the Artifact. Than next turn drop the dread of night or anything else to kill thalia.

Hi. I have been seeing lots of lists running gamble and it made me think of Library of Leng. What do you think? It would let us keep our card that we gambled for and it would interact with mox diamond, manabond, and Tolaria West.

I just recently started playing with solar flare and was noticing that alot of builds use timely reinforcements mainboard. I was just wondering why people dont use Midnight Haunting instead. When I was testing this deck against my friends modern vampire deck (it was still in development) i was noticing that I would have Timely reinforcements in my hand, but it did no good because I always removed his creatures or countered them.

I've always found that 4 plating's work out really well, since the first few get countered. I also really like ornithopters, since they are free flyers that are devastating with either plating or jitte. Isn't etherium scupltor kinda counterproductive since myr enforcer's and springleaf drums aren't in your list?
I'm really hoping that your build works especially since you got tezz 2.0 in there and I really wanna see him shine.
