I will be in New Orleans from 3/13-3/19 and was wondering if anyone knows of a store which hosts EDH games. If so, please let me know as I'd love to embrace the chaos while I'm there. Thanks.
I have gotten a lot of use out of both Lieutenant Kirtar and Commander Eesha in my build as cards to make players look elsewhere when attacking.
Also, I would definately recomend running Adarkar Valkyrie, Karmic Guide, and possibly even Genesis for recursion (just don't be a DB & combo w/ Saffi & Yosei)
You may want to reconsider your general if you're playing in a casual group as he is a "griefer", and locking out your opponents is anything but casual. If you want to stay in these colors and play a control strategy, why not try out Isperia or Ith?
I would like some feedback on my new Doran EDH deck. The deck focuses on low power/ high toughness creatures. The deck seeks to get out some creatures, protect them w/ cards like asceticism & privileged position, then create some offense w/ one sided board clearers like solar tide/ retribution of the meek or cards which make my creatures unblockable. As such, I'd prefer to stay away from FAT since I use many such cards in my Teneb deck. Also, I'd like to stay away from cards like meekstone and ensnaring bridge as such cards would likely negatively effect every other player and put a huge target over my head. I've never actually played w/ the following list, so any comments/ suggestions are welcome. Thanks again.
Just Looking for some feedback on my Teneb deck for EDH as I'm about to enter a league with it. Specifically,
Is the curve too high / do I have enough acceleration?
- Should I use more instant speed removal? (Path to Exile, Putrefy)
- Do I really need more graveyard hate? (Nezumi Gravrobber)
- Should I put in more cards to resurrect creatures? (Debtor's Knell)
- Is 3 board clearers enough? (Decree of Pain)
- Do I have enough card draw?
- Do I have enough life gain?
-Is basilisk collar better than behemoth sledge?
- Does the deck have enough ways to win the game?
- Is the deck too predictable?
- Is the deck resilient enough to most forms of disruption?
- Is the deck perhaps too conservative? (Too Defensive w/ Answers)
Hey, I'm about to enter an EDH league at my local store and was hoping for some feedback on my Teneb deck. I play the deck regularly w/ a small group of friends but have no idea if its actually any good in a broader context. The deck list is bellow followed by some cards I've been considering, and lastly some specific questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated, so thanks guys!

-nemesis of reason
-necrotic ooze
-dimir doppleganger
-coffin queen
-glimpse the unthinkable
-traumatize
-memory plunder (instant)
In case you haven't already figured it out, my version focuses on reanimating stuff from other players' graveyards
General: Doran, the Siege Tower
Creatures: 31
Artifacts/ Enchantments: 16
Instant/ Sorcery: 16
Land: 37
whispersilk cloak, distortion strike, & time warp
Maybe even trailblazer's boots
bear umbra is pretty ridikulous, as is genesis wave
You may want to try out some cards which can give your general non trample evasion: whispersilk cloak, trailblazer's boots, predatory focus
