This is a really interesting and powerful card. Obviously insane for EDH, but I'm interested in trying it out in cube. It is of course, very slow and expensive so I'm not sure which decks especially want it, but damn it looks fun!
Having a copy of everything you play for an additional 4 mana all game seems like a big game!
Card is great imo. Its floor is Darksteel Ingot, and its ceiling is quite awesome with stuff like Tolarian Academy, Urza, etc. I'll definitely be playing it
Seems like a really solid early aggressive threat. It's cool that you can hit all three options. Not sure what the cut is, but I would like to try this dude!
In reanimator decks, this will on average be better than a looter. They can remove your looter while it's summoning sick, but with this guy you get as many guaranteed discards as you want when it resolves. Also hits for 2, so it's like an upgraded Looter Il Kor with upside.
Edit: not quite Looter Il Kor because of the upkeep activation cost. Still a great card though and I will be running it
That isn't a spicy idea imo. Getting the lands from Prime time is often what breaks the game open for you, not to mention being a 6 drop to pod into/from etc
Just wanted to check in and see what fellow cubers are doing with their bouncelands, if they run them. I currently run all 10 but the vast majority of the time people don't run them - everyone is either A. too afraid of land destruction, B. too worried about losing tempo against faster decks or C. their strategy just doesnt allow taking a turn off to play one.
That being said, I've heard of some people running some bouncelands over others (the green ones being the most commonly used). How does everyone feel about strength of bouncelands in their meta? Is it unreasonable to cut them completely?

An interesting (albeit slightly less powerful) Avenger variant. Good card, but multicolor slots are a big ask.
It IS nice to have access to a sexy 6-drop in the birthing pod chain, though...

What? Slam dunk for me at 540 unpowered. 2 mana discard outlet for reanimator with all kinds of value attached!
easiest Watery Grave of my life
