New to this archtype/commander but has anyone tried Swans of Bryn Argoll? It combo's really well with Pyrohemia since you draw a card for every activation and it will never die to it. Also, makes a fine political/group hug blocker to help your opponents draw cards if you want.
Bob is awesome! While I don't actively reduce the casting cost of my deck, I'll put him in if the average casting cost of the deck is around 3 or less. Great that he's a creature, easily removed when you don't need him.
I also do chain wheels (sorta) with Ill-Gotten Gains and Lion's Eye Diamond. Since I play with Reverberate and Twincast (still thinking about Increasing Vengeance), I find that Incendiary Command is really really useful in this deck. All the options on that card are really helpful. I have destroyed a non-basic land and cause an opponent to lose to Pact of Negation upkeep. I have destroyed swarms with the pyroclasm option. Push through that last 4 damage with it. Even better if it was copied.
Spiteful Visions Need some way to overcome and mitigate my own life loss. This card hurts, and draws alot of hate.
I play with Phyrexian Tyranny as well. I'd totally recommend Sangromancer in this deck. With Sangromancer on board, a single wheel will normally gain you tons of life.
What I really hate is when opponent plays stuff like Trygon Predator, Aura Shards, Aura of Silence, etc. Basically anti-enchantment stuff. Kills off most the win-cons of this deck.
I already have a draw/discard punisher Grixis deck that is currently using Tetsuo Umezawa as general. This Nekusar, the Mindrazer will replace him nicely. All according to keikaku.....
Witch Hunt looks like the ultimate "hot potato" to add needless chaos to the game, unless you have in play that one enchantment (I think it's red) that protects you from red sources you control.
Play in Zedruu. Donate it away if you get randomly targetted at the end of the turn.
For threat sticking it highly depends on the playgroup we are in. In my playgroup generally cards (especially creatures) that only do something during the next upkeep are considered as card disadvantage due to the number of sweeps/targetted removal the meta has. Don't be surprised that my opponents will Damnation the moment a 0/2 enchantress hits the field, or Wrath of God if the only creature on board is a Noble Hierarch. Sweeps are aplenty here (Previously my Karador deck runs 8 sweeps minimum), hence running cards like Deranged Hermit is actually more worth it than Mycoloth for me.
I did the Damnation on Enchantress being the only creature on board...cause I've seen how the the Enchantress deck can go nuts really fast.
What he failed to mention about that the *** on Noble Hierarch being the only creature on board, is that there was a sword of feast & famine(or was it fire & ice) on board, with the threat of casting Rafiq, equipping sword on Noble Hierarch and swinging with double strike + exalted next turn.
There was this time when it was turn 3 or 4, Rafiq was casted. I had Black Sun Zenith in hand, enough to bring Rafiq down to 1/1, but not to kill it. So, I decide to hold back. Bad move. Got promptly pwnt by two Rafiq attacks due to a Time Warp. I really should've Black Sun for 2 that time.
My vote's on Reforge the Soul. Wheel of Fate is too slow. You might also consider Incendiary Command. This card helped me a lot in my Grixis wheel deck.
These are good suggestions. Puzzle box is especially brutal with Notion Thief and Psychosis Crawler, it's probably one of my top considerations for artifacts.
Underworld Dreams is similar in effectiveness, the BBB cost is just a little off-putting.
I don't like Visions or P. Tyranny because they affect me just as much, and that's not something I want.
I have Sangromancer in the build, she can gain so much life
You have to be careful of Notion Thief on the board. There is no "may draw" keyword here. You can deck yourself out, or some clever players will make you deck out with Notion Thief on board.
Swans of Bryn Argoll combos with Chain of Plasma. You can draw your whole deck with that. And Swan is also tutorable with Riptide Shapeshifter.

I can't wait for Wizards to print Waste Not!

Generals I'm excited about: -
I'll probably be getting the Jeleva deck and Derevi deck. Love those reprints, Strategic Planning, Baleful Strix, etc.

And that's how our meta rolls...
Did you just sneaked a Craw Wurm in there?
Underworld Dreams, Spiteful Visions and Phyrexian Tyranny are all great. You don't have to be afraid of the life loss as you can tutor for Sangromancer.

I also suggest Yawgmoth's Will and Past in Flames to reuse those wheel effect cards.
If you want more wheel effects, there's Reforge the Soul, Incendiary Command, Whispering Madness, Magus of the Jar.
As such, I play with: -
You'll love the Sangromancer, especially Wheel effects. Also, if you have an LED, it's great to crack it in response to a wheel spell.
