Theres probably already a place for this, but I was wondering where I could find a guide to making a cube, specifically on one set, I was looking at conspiracy as a fun cube, and I wanted to see what I would need to do, and how much it would cost, ext. Thanks!
Is it Possible for this deck to still be fairly competitive without the mox opals or do you have to have them? And what is the removal plan or is it to kill your opponent before you need the removal?
Favorite Playstyle (Aggro, Midrange, Control, Combo): Aggro/Midrange
How Competitive (For Fun, Local Tournament, MTGO, PTQ/GP): Probably Local Tourney
Favorite Cards/Colors: No Strong Preference
Budget: 100-200 I probably wont go all in with the lands right away Until I get some experience.
Staples Owned: Some Lorwyn Merfolk, some BW Tokens stuff
Im looking at BW Tokens, Merfolk, or Affinity. I want to be fairly competitive and not get blown away every time. If someone could give me a breakdown of pros and cons of each I would Appreciate it, I don't know much about modern. Im leaning towards Affinity and taking out the mox opals for now. Im not really sure how good BW tokens is and Im excited over merfolk and I don't know how good they are either. Thanks alot!
Hi everyone, I'm looking for card suggestions for a Ruhan chaos control. I want it to be as annoying as possible. I'm thinking of doing counters and burn as support with a few bigger creatures for finishers. The annoying part comes from things like mind controls, clones stealing instants and sorceries, jokulhaups like board wipes, and annoying larger instants like time warp stuff. So I would appreciate any ideas! Thanks!
Hey everyone,
I was wondering what cards/lists would be good for a budget version burn I'd do it myself but I'm really familiar with all the stuff yet. That limits me to only rw/rb/ or mono Red, since i dont want to spend a bunch of money on duals yet. it's my first time playing modern so I'm looking for a semi competitive deck to start with that's not too expensive. If anyone has any ideas/list please let me know! I don't plan on really worrying about the sideboard yet until I get a feel for modern. Thanks!
Is liliana of the veil worth a try at all? I would think her discard ability wouldn't really hurt us as much as everyone else, and her next 2 abilities are pretty self explanatory...
Favorite Playstyle: I like the chaos of goblins, so more of an aggro style.
Level Of competition- upper tier Local Tournament,
My Favorite Cards/Colors- Goblins Elves and Allies
Budget not more than $250.
Staples- Not really sure
I would prefer to spend money on things other than lands like shocks and fetches. I looked at scapeshift which seemed nice, goblins but I don't know its success rate and death and taxes. But I don't know anything about modern and whats good and whats not ect... so Im hoping someone can give me direction and which route to take. And I don't want to get something and find out its not that good. Thanks!
I'm trying to get into modern, and I can't decide between white life gain and goblins, I love my goblin decks of the past, but I'm not sure if they would be competitive enough... Can someone tell me if they are fairly successful of if I should just go with soul sisters?
So I was wondering if during combat multiple creatures die, say six. Would they all hit the graveyard at seperate times and allow me to trigger goblin sharpshooter 6 times, or would they all hit at once and allow me to only use him once? Thanks!
Well I'd have only 2 objections based on what I know,
Nissa is definitely Selesnya, lorwyn and zendikar elves are all naturist
And Sorin, his concern for humanity on innistrad seems a lot more like orzhov, maybe, but I don't think Dimir.
I was wondering what other free online places there are to play magic and test decks? I used to use cockatrice, but I guess their having some legal issues, and I need a new place to test. Any recommendations?
So I was wondering if this deck could be decent without the mutavault? This would be
My first modern deck, and I don't want to drop 150 bucks to not like it. Is this deck good for a beginner? Thanks!
I'm considering bant allies, did fairly well on cockatrice, I destroyed most people with a casual build, I used negates, but mana
Leak would probably be better.
Hi! I was just wondering what is the better
Choice/ more competitive for a budget? Merfolk or martyr proc? I can't decide, as I could probably get some pricier merfolk from lorwyn easier..
