Worth noting though that they can be blinked by Venser, as the ability only triggers with Instants and Sorceries, not activated abilities. Blink the card and you really do end up with 2 more tokens.

Also, if you manage to get a whole whackload of Golems out, you can into the roil with kicker and you'll get a card for every single one of them.

Also, one more question. If your opponent doomblades/naturalizes a golem and copies the spell to other golems, if you coutered that spell, the counter would only affect the one spell as the counter isn't targeting the golem and thus doesn't get copied, correct? Cause that could make these suckers even harder to protect.

Although, I guess you've got Emerge Unscathed which can protect all of them. Plus, it rebounds.

Also, one more question. If you have 3 golems out with this guy but only attack with one, if your opponent Condemn's the one, will it also affect the non-attacking golems?

    EDIT:

Oh mama! Get some of these guys out and cast Fleeting Distraction. For the cost of putting -1/-0 counters on your golems you basically get Ancestral Recall at bare minimum. That's pretty awesome.

Justed wanted to point out that Precursor Golem synergizes really well with Garruk's Packleader. Pay 5 for 3 disposable 3/3's AND 3 cards? Yes please.

Then if you're playing Bant, you can blink him with Venser and get another 3 cards. That's what I call value.

Question about the wording regarding multi-target spells, though. The ability is worded that "Whenever a player casts an instant or sorcery spell that targets only a single Golem." Correct me if I'm wrong, but based on that wording, if a player casts a multi-target spell but only one of the selected targets is a Golem, would the ability still trigger? The wording is kind of ambiguous like that.

Also, if you pump one of your golems with Vines of Vastwood, wouldn't any golems your opponents control also get pumped and troll-shrouded?

1st post, hope it's not too noobish.
