Zombies, Bant/Naya/GW aggro, 4c/5c Control/Goodstuffs, Jund Midrange all play Thragtusk.
Tokens, Esper Control, Junk, Reanimator, 4c/5c Control/Good Stuffs all play Lingering Souls.
Finally, Bonfire is played in Grixis Control, Jund Midrange, UWR/UR/4c/5c Control and Tempo, 4c/5c Goodstuffs, Naya Aggro, Naya Midrange, and Jund/BR Zombies.
Those 3 Cards are EVERYWHERE. I cannot imagine a match where one of the 3 didn't show up. -

Sep 19, 2012Tinfoil Hat posted a message on Destabilization - Text DumpJust one thing...might want to change Tide of Energy to like 4 target permanents...otherwise this can be VERY easily abused... Even at 4 permanents I can just imagine playing it in Heartbeat combo turn 3, then turning this face up and untapping all my lands to combo off immediately. With it at 6, It can be uber abused if you have 6 lands, play heartbeat for 3, then you have 6 at your disposal, play and spellmorph this for 3U, you still have 2 mana left, and you're untapping 6 lands to get to 14 mana....Posted in: Repository of Creative stuff
EDIT: I would even play this in some sort of slower, more consistant storm deck, play it face down, then next turn cast a ritual, float mana, then spellmorph it, and untap into a LOT of mana -

Also, blasting station is actually a solid card. Kills a lot of dudes in the format and gives some insurance against removal heavy decks, and wins the game with any persister and any Melira.
One thing I haven't seen brought up or mentioned, when you have infinite scry, you literally know the order of your deck, by scrying and bottoming every card. So you can scry to a Collected Company with 2 combo pieces beneath it (or respond to the CC with inf scry). This is more important in builds that still use Safehold Elite, but also very important when infinite life doesn't win.
Instant
Exile target creature. Its controller puts a token onto the battlefield thats a copy of the exiled creature, except it has “When this creature becomes the target of a spell or ability, sacrifice it.”
I don't really fear ScOoze game 1 because usually the opponent doesn't expect you to be able to win out of no where so easily, and as a fair deck the beatdown plan is actually solid. I sideboard path to make the Ooze less of an issue when they are likely to mulligan for one or have multiple copies.
Regarding seer, I only play it because when you combo with Elite or if infinite life isn't enough, it finds you redcap or blasting station. I've been over-impressed with seer.
Collect Call is cute but I'm sticking with That Anafenza Deck
4 Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit
4 Kitchen Finks
1 Melira, Sylvok Outcast
3 Viscera Seer
2 Safehold Elite
4 Eternal Witness
4 Voice of Resurgence
4 Birds of Paradise
1 Blood Artist
1 Murderous Redcap
Other spells:
4 Chord of Calling
4 Collected Company
1 Blasting Station
4 Razorverge Thicket
3 Marsh Flats
3 Verdant Catacombs
2 Windswept Heath
2 Temple Garden
1 Overgrown Tomb
2 Godless Shrine
1 Swamp
2 Plains
2 Forest
1 Gavony Township
4 Path to Exile
4 Thoughtseize
1 Melira, Sylvok Outcast
3 Creeping Corrosion
3 Kor Firewalker
On a side note, can we call the deck "That Anafenza Deck"? It just sounds awesome lol, cuz its not pod, and Anafenza company or whatever sounds off...
(Edited: forgot sideboard)
