You could probably a pilgrim and two travelers amulets for 3 volleys. Maybe even the fourth devils play for the fourth volley. I'll be honest. The cards that make the token matchups are virtue, Garruk, and Gavony Township. All those pump effects make your dudes unkillable.
I played it to a 3-1 finish in a daily the other day, but immediately went 0-2 drop later in the evening. The deck is fairly inconsistent. If your draws are good and hit enough lands\creatures off Mulch and Dream Twist, then you're set. If you don't, you're screwed. The deck inherently also has no removal and is obnoxious to see your big dudes get tucked away under Fiend Hunters. Another problem I noticed is with Blasphemous Act in the board for token match-ups. Most times you are milling them away with your spells and you get absolutely no value out of them, or you can't find the Grotto or Sulfur Falls to cast it.
To be honest, I think with changing some of the SB and some MD choices around, it could be a better deck. Adding Garruk to the deck seems like a good choice. It gives us more tokens to survive with, can remove Fiend Hunters or other obnoxious guys, and provides us with a synergistic ultimate. Adding more red\black colored lands to better support removal options is also ideal. Unburial Rites would be a great way to get back threats you mill away, and Snapcaster Mage would ensure you can hit your Act when you actually need it against tokens. Kessig Wolf Run was another card I wanted to include specifically for Boneyard Wurm. He gets chumped far too often to be effective. For the mirror, the inclusion of Undead Alchemist and Memory's Journey are both great. I've been completely blown out by double Journey before. Making one 2/2 with Cagebreakers is just sad.
Probably. I was actually knocked out of the daily playing Vengeance and lost to this person. I had rearranged my deck to have a better token matchup, so only having one temblor against Geist was awful. Hexproof is hard for alot of decks to deal with. Temblor and an early liliana/tribute are really the only answers that impact the board quicker than the Geists clock.
I've been running one grudge main since lots of decks are running orbs main, but still keeping naturalizes in the SB. Naturalize hits much more than grudge and can take care of other problematic stuff. One grudge main is still sexy though.
I'm switching to 2 Blasphemous main/1 Temblor main, 2 Blasphemous SB. Temblor has been underwhelming. Most tokens we need to kill fly and temblor doesn't touch them. We really need the act against them to win, especially if they're playing Parallel Lives and sneak one through a dissipate.
Personally I would've played GWr, splashing THR watch keep and the volley. You have such an aggressive humans deck that way, and travel preps is amazing in that archetype. Champion gets crazy big, you have humans that pump him and turn into werewolves, and dark thicket wolf that allows you to pump and have all your dudes flip. Removal is decent too. Blue doesn't offer you much. A few flyers and some claustrophobias don't really match up to the sheer beef you get going WGr.
Anyone know about how long it takes post set release for Block events to start on MTGO? Do they even have constructed events before all three sets are released? I'm a MTGO noob looking to start a collection with INN and be able to play something other than draft/sealed.
Since you have alot of pieces to a U/G deck from Kraj, do Momir Vig next!
Seems like a good idea. If Momir Vig wasn't an option because someone in our playgroup plays him, what would your next possible choice be? A couple routes I've been thinking were to keep building Brion Stoutarm and just make a mono blue 1v1 deck using Azami since I want a blue deck of some sort and I have no 1v1 decks. The only other option I've been considering is using either Intet the Dreamer or Numot the Devastator, which will allow me to use to use the bulk of Kraj and Stoutarm (respectively).
So, I've become completely obsessed with EDH, and I keep spending way too much money on new decks only to have them be "cool in theory, weak in execution". I recently built Experiment Kraj, but found that he just died way too easy, or had my board wiped a bunch because Kraj promotes overextending. So I'm going back into the think tank once more to come up with something fun and resilient for multiplayer, and I could use your help. I currently have Teneb built, and would prefer to play something using other colors, however I do not wish to play any of the red\blue generals. That said, I don't mind reusing a color if needed. I also have a skeleton of Brion Stoutarm built, but I feel that he might be too general reliant like Kraj was. Any suggestions?
So, I've chosen red and white as my colors of choice, and I'm trying to build a nice Sunforger toolbox without taking too much away from the core concept of the deck (ya know, steal guys and fling em at people). I've decided on some common fetchable instants, but might there be anything I'm overlooking that is just stupid good in this format for multiplayer? Here's my list so far:
Rhada's a pretty cool general, and will definitely catch
A lot of players by surprise. Banefire's not too shabby either. I think you'd have your bases covered on Erayo either way. Do you know what else you're up against?
So far, all I saw signed up the last time I looked was Sharuum, Hanna, and another Teneb Deck. Someone was talking about playing Azusa, but thats about all I know.
Card seems sick. Lots of utility.

Thanks for the help in advance!
